Beolas stops her with a hand on her shoulder, "Wait, are the spiders actually down there? Did they follow you to the cliff? I should probably climb down and check..."

Climb down the rope until I can see the base of the cliff. Spiders: Y/N?

Don't climb down if people are already pushing rocks over the edge.

Get as far up the rope as possible while still being able to see the mouth of the tunnel. Shout, loudly. If spiders appear, start climbing back up immediately.

"OI! GET OUT HERE, DIRTY VERMIN! YE SCARED MY FRIEND! I GOT SUMMAT TO SAY TO YOU!"

You yell.

A single man-sized spider comes through, and you would not doubt that more are coming. You flee up the rope.

[Nerjin]

Push Rock over edge onto Spider. Do NOT do this until Beolas is safely out of the way. Continue until spiders are dead or are within 20'.

Once atop the cliff, push rocks over. Watch for spiders climbing the walls.

((Accidentally quit the web browser while writing the post, so forgive me if this sounds a bit rough.))

Shoving rocks off the cliff works rather well. There is a satisfying crunching noise as the boulder hits the ground, crushing the spider. Two more spiders come, and five after that; while the second two are taken care of with ease, the five spiders are too much and two of them reach the top.

"Well, back to the original plan..." Sacha says as she eyes the arachnid warily.

5 foot step next to Darwyn [Directly to his left] and bull rush the spider (Opposed Strength Checks. +4 bonus for the spider)

"Very well, let's be rid of these creatures! Shillelagh!"

That last part was a druidic word that none of the rest had any hope of understanding. Darwyn's club suddenly had a sort of weight to it that wasn't there previously. Though it looked exactly the same, and Darywn did not seem encumbered in any way, it seemed as mighty as an oak tree.

5-foot-step directly south, cast Shillelagh on Darwyn's Club! It now has +1 enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls, and deals 2d6 base damage!
