Beolas climbs the rope, but slips! He catches himself quickly enough, however, and continues upward. He reaches the top at a decent pace, reaching the top unharmed.

[Sirus]

"Good to see you both are unharmed."
Pull up the rope.

[Tawa]

Rope get.

[Nerjin]

"Okay... Okay... How to do this... How to do this. I'm not going back down there... Maybe we could flood the cavern Darwyn? It'd take... A long time but it might work right? I dunno... We can't afford going down there over and over again. With the rope it's still a long fall, plus we don't know what else is down there."

[Flying Dice]

"What was down there that scared you, Sacha?" Beolas asks.

[Nerjin]

"Spiders... Whole colony of giant spiders..."

[Nerjin]

"You know... Darwyn, you can use summoning spells right? Kid, can you? Maybe we could just storm the place with summons. None of us get hurt..."

[Sirus]

"Sure, I can summon wolves and dire rats and a few other things. Neither is likely to do much against a single giant spider, let alone a 'whole colony' I'm afraid."

[Nerjin]

"I know. We use them the spiders up one at a time. Then we have Beolas shove them off the side so they fall to their death. Well... No, maybe not. Beolas might fall... Not that I care or anything but maybe there's another way to knock them off the edge? If you think the plan has any merit of course."

[Sirus]

Darwyn stroked his beard thoughtfully, then shook his head.

"I don't think it would work. I can only summon a creature nearby, and it won't stick around for very long; a minute at most. Even an eagle would not be able to get close enough to the spiders in time. I would have to climb down there, move closer to the spiders, summon a creature to lure them in, and then climb back up while being chased."

[Nerjin]

"Hm... I can do, at best, maybe 12 seconds... Not really enough time either... I don't want anyone climbing that rope... It's way too dangerous. Well... Maybe the new girl. But still... Okay, aside from HOW we get them up here is the idea of shoving them back down the pit a decent plan?

[Sirus]

"Considering the depth of this chasm, I'd be very surprised if any of them survived a fall. But how to lure them? I suppose a bright light might do it, or making a lot of noise."

[Nerjin]

"We have a bard and a lot of light spells. We can do it! Hm... Perhaps, while I'm thinking about safety measures, we should attach a rope to whomever is doing the shoving. You know, keep them alive and all in case they fall in. That sound like a good plan to everyone?"

[Flying Dice]

"Rocks," Beolas mutters, "Lure spiders to the bottom, drop rocks."

[Nerjin]

"Oh? I like that plan much more. No one get hurt, except the new girl, and we accomplish everything. Should we do it now or is there anything else we need?"

Search for large rocks. Move them towards the shaft if possible. If not, ask Beolas to do it.
