A shadowy ray springs from Ayleth's finger as the spider noticeably weakens. It seems to have to put more effort into supporting its own body.

Meanwhile, Beolas goes batshit insane and just mauls the friggin' thing.

Then the spider counterattacks, but its pincers miraculously hit exactly the studs of Beolas's leather.
