Narrowing his eyes, Beolas glares at the map, "Could we not do sommat with them? If the beast proves to be too much for blades, I mean?"

After waiting in the cave for several moments Sacha figured that she'd pop back outside for a second. Upon seeing the group discussing something over a piece of paper she shouted "I'm waiting! By the way, thanks for leaving me alone in there with the 'deadly mage'. By the power of Nish I cannot handle being alone with strangers. You guys know that."

[Silthuri]

Ayleth laughs as she follows Sacha outside. She glances at the map. "Should the beast be too strong, these traps would prove very useful. Are any of you good enough with traps to inspect those in the cave and perhaps see what they do and how they're triggered? It's best to know what we're working with. These traps could as easily kill us as the beast and I, for one, plan on living for a long time."

[Sirus]

"I've had exactly one experience with traps, just now when one almost crushed me."

[Nerjin]

"Then let's just disable them and be done with it. We know where they are... Shouldn't be too hard to disable a bunch of traps."

[Tawa]

Well, anyway, you all head into the mines. You descend, deeper and deeper, and the few times anybody gets near a trap, they dodge it with ease. Eventually, you all find yourself in a wide, open level. There are a couple of ruined workshops and statues sitting around.

Suddenly, Ayleth hears a thundering noise as you walk away from the staircase. You all turn around... and a giant cave spider approaches you menacingly. If you don't destroy the beast now, it'll surely get to the staircase and destroy the island.
