"Eh, It's technically Darwyn's boat more than ours. Even if his Grandfather gifted it to the group, the more I think of it the more I think we should make Darwyn the captain. Seems more fair to me that way and helps keep this boat running a bit smoother. Either him or me. I, personally, vote me. BUT I'm willing to step down from that election."

"You know... Gig, you wouldn't happen to know a spell that lets you survive a very high fall would you? The peak of that mountain looks like it could be sorta dangerous getting to."

"I do, in fact! But I haven't memorised any of it today. Tomorrow, I could prepare it so if someone fell they'd be safe."

Darwyn kept the anger out of his voice. Barely.

"We've had this boat a single day. There are the wrecks of dozens of boats over there, many of them probably crewed by people with far more experience than us. There's no reason to risk certain death tackling something we aren't prepared for when we can mark it's location on the chart and come back once we aren't so wet behind the ears. My grandfather's dream will never be realized if we throw our lives away by acting recklessly."

"I agree with you, here. No sense risking ourselves, unless we can see what destroyed those ships. Are there reefs? Monsters? We can at least map that there is an island here, and it's dangerous. We'll come back some other day."

Around midday the next day, you all come across a small island. You drop anchor when you see it, a mile or so off the coast. It is a small, flat plain in front of a huge mountain with a massive hole carved into the side. Darwyn notes that there are small hovels on the plain. Investigate? [Y/N]

The wind now blows east.

With a heavy sigh Sacha exclaims "I'm tired of being on this damned boat! Can we stop here Darwyn? We might even be able to help the natives with any injuries. Doing good work and all that."
