I will charge Rag and use smite evil on him as well. Large longsword attack +5+2(charge)+1(height advantage)+?(smite evil) damage: 2d6+4+?(smite evil)

Ilev charges down the hill, bowling over the little goblin, who crumples to the ground under the paladin's blade, which glows with righteous fury.
Lextix continues along the bridge.
Krani moves to wait in the center of the pillar on their side, and pulls out and loads a crossbow.

Mutt smiled with satisfaction at the tumbling form of his enemy before he turned his focus to another. He strode forward a step or two before he tried to send another overcharged energy ray - cold - towards Krani. His talent for psionics rediverted the overcharged energies, letting it churn through until the energy subsided rather than breaking a path through his body.

Nah. I need the move action to load it, as i recall.
FAr as i know that's just the range increment, and so I'll just take a -2 to hit.

Another bolt flies towards the half-orc, this one hitting them in the chest.
"Well, that looks like match. Lextix can't achieve a win alone."
"Ah, yes, he's throwing down his weapons now."
The little kobold starts to stomp offcourt and the crowd begins to cheer. You exit, and the same man, albeit cleaner and better dressed than yesterday, hands you your winnings.

Right before you finally leave the arena, you are stopped by a young man, dressed in regal looking clothes adorned with a crest of somesort.
Giving you each a small velvet pouch, he says "Her Majesty, the Queen of Tomann, sends her thanks for helping her win her bet against the Baroness of Havenshire."

Ding!
You have reached level 2!

Later that day, a messenger finds you and gives you an invitation to a dinner hosted by the Hunt-Master Logan Trennar. It says that attendance is mandatory. The address given is right next to the arena.

Guilhayl had been approached by the messenger while admiring his new crossbow, nicknamed Heartspear now, in the inn, and accepted the letter without a word. After reading it silently, he seems rather excited.

"Ah, excellent. A summons for our efforts."

"But wait... mandatory? Next to the arena? Possibly a devious trap to test our guile and skill. No matter, I shall attend."

Make sure I re-prepare Sleep and prepare Daze, Resistance, and Detect Poison before going to the dinner. Leave my food, water, and rope in the room at the inn.
