Hm... Maybe I should just jump down now... Our Use Rope skills are rather... poor. I feel much safer with 6d6 [6-36 damage] vs 20d6 [20-120 damage]... This was a poor idea.

Sorry guys, been busy collegin'. It's my first semester ever, you see, so I'm paranoid about doing all the homework assignments and stuff, and my free time has been nonexistent lately. I'll try to keep up now.

You're going to be falling the same distance now regardless, and hopefully we'll be allowed to filch Ness' rope. Otherwise, might be wise for you to look for outcroppings on the wall If it's rough enough you could probably get away with the climb checks to get down.

Hey, Nerjin?

I'm getting a "bad sheetid" message from your sheet.

I hope that this isn't bad.

So... it seems I misread the rules somehow and thought that Ayleth had to summon a familiar and didn't automatically start with one... mind if I give her a small snake that has been coiled in her pouch for the duration of this adventure thus far or must I wait to summon one?

Later. You'll be OK for now.

Besides, bluff checks aren't going to help you down here.

Yeah, Jump makes more sense in this situation.

Quote from: SRD
Jumping Down

If you intentionally jump from a height, you take less damage than you would if you just fell. The DC to jump down from a height is 15. You do not have to get a running start to jump down, so the DC is not doubled if you do not get a running start.

If you succeed on the check, you take falling damage as if you had dropped 10 fewer feet than you actually did.

Tumble's not going to make a difference regardless; it's the same DC as jump for the same thing, and the next step up in reducing fall damage via tumble is DC 30, so the only people making that are ones who have Tumble as a class skill anyways (because who the hell is going to waste skill points cross-classing into tumble for that when Featherfall, Ref saves, and Jump/Climb checks are things).

Hah, I was halfway expecting someone to complete the Spaceballs quote.

"I'm going down there." - "He's going down there."
"I wouldn't."

xD

Did I say they saw you?

No.

I'm not going to PK someone in the first quest. I'm not that evil.
