What about feats? Are you cool with stuff from the Completes, PHBII, Races of ... and such? A lot of the stuff I'm looking at will need feats outside of the basic PHB ones, otherwise a barb is nearly useless for anything but facetanking. If it's going to be pure PHB for everything, I'll probably do something else as a character concept.

PHBII requires the Second Player's Handbook, which is not included in the SRD, unfortunately.
Traits and Faults are in the "Variant Rules" of Unearthed Arcana.

Hey Taw, will Sylvan (language of woodland creatures) be of any use in this campaign? It is something Druids can learn, but if it will be useless I'd rather take a different language.

Depends on how often you hit up the foresty sorts of islands. Could probably come in handy.

Alternatively, I could have druids in these parts be able to learn Aquan. That could come in more handy.

What he doesn't tell you is that while Druids can now learn Aquan instead of Sylvan, is that now all water Creatures speak Dwarvish.

What's your INT score? If the modifier is at least 2, you can have two extra languages.

INT score is 12, so not quite enough IIRC :/

Well, it's not a class skill, but you could also put 2 skill points into Speak Language.
