...so wait, when did we kill all 8? I thought we still had three more to deal with (five survived the boulders, two got up to us first).
What?

There were two waves; you crushed the first two, but the wave of five was too much and you only managed to take 3 before the remaining 2 got to the top.

As for level up charts, you can get that kind of stuff off of DnDwiki and just googling it.
Well, crap. I just wasted my last 1st-level spell and didn't even get to hit anything with it >_<

Okay, I took the feat part out of my level-up. I forgot the BAB though, so I added it.

This is surprisingly useful, though as always check rules yourself if you aren't certain.

Falling damage in D&D is a terrifying thing for those on both sides of the collision. One of the things that makes Shrink Item so potentially lethal.

Took me forever to find what color the mayor's voice was. :V

Do you guys want the big reveal, now that you're out of the dungeon? It's nothing plot related, really, just something that surprised me a little.

Yeah, I'd be interested in the reveal... Though I'm pretty sure the plan is to go back INTO the dungeon.

Also... Would Lichdom be out of my reach considering the party? I'm not sure if Sacha would go that route but in case she would I'd like to know in advance if it'd just piss her friends off.

Yeaaah scratch the reveal for now.

Anyway, being a lich is a maybe. Depends on my own opinions on the matter (impending SRD check) and those of the others.

I would have to do an act of unspeakable evil but I figure I have the disguise self thing and Undetectable alignment. Hopefully not even letting the rest of the party even know I'm undead.

Oh, and something I keep meaning to ask because it seems... A little important.

Quote from: Scribe Scroll
You can create a scroll of any spell that you know. Scribing a scroll takes one day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. The base price of a scroll is its spell level × its caster level × 25 gp. To scribe a scroll, you must spend 1/25 of this base price in XP and use up raw materials costing one-half of this base price.

So... I want to make a bunch of Cure Light Wounds Scrolls at Level 1 [1 x 1 (I choose to do it at a low level for less cost) x 25 = 25 gp per scroll at base price.] So the cost would be 1xp and 12 gold, 5 silver.

What I care about is how much time it would take to make one. 1000/25 is 40 so... Would it take 1/40th of a day? I am, again, assuming that a day is 8 hours [because 24 hours of uninturrupted work seems a little harsh... But anyways if it's 8 hours [28,800 seconds] it should take about [28,800/40 = 720 seconds = 12 minutes] right? If it's 24 hours [86,400 seconds] it should take about [86,400/40 = 2160 seconds = 36 minutes] right?

Anyways, it seems like it would be important to know how long.

Yeah, I kinda figured the 8-hour day rule came into effect here. I think your math is about right.

And it is now that I realize how piss broke I am. I should probably attempt to get an advance on our payment. Covering expenses and such...

If I'm reading the wand creation rules properly...I can create a wand of, say, Light for free. Or any other 0th-level spell. Detect Magic, Create Water, Guidance, etc.

Crafting a wand takes one day for each 1,000 gp in its base price. The base price of a wand is its caster level × the spell level × 750 gp. To craft a wand, you must spend 1/25 of this base price in XP and use up raw materials costing one-half of this base price.
Caster level is at least 5 by the time I can take the Craft Wand feat (so just about any wand I can craft will have a minimum cost of 3750 gp), but if the spell level is 0 it all cancels out. It also means, in theory at least, that the wand can be crafted instantaneously.

I can't be the first one to notice this, so I have to wonder if I'm missing something here.

level 0 spells count as Level 1/2 spells for the determining of costs.

Having the physical books helps with rules questions :P

However, I believe there are ways to make wands at lower costs than that, because I believe you might be able to use a lower caster level for the wand creation than you actually are, otherwise there would not be 750gp Cure Light Wounds Wands.
