Examine the details of the room, of course, in addition to remembering details about ourself.

Examine the details of the room, of course, in addition to remembering details about ourself.

You open your eyes.
It is a simple room. The ground is gray carpet, the walls are painted gray, and the ceiling is painted gray.
There is a wooden door to your left. Its frame is painted gray, and its brass handle is dented.
There is a glass window across from you. Its frame is painted gray, and its brass handle is dull.

You suddenly start to remember something.
You were on your way to work when you were hit from behind. You are still wearing your work clothes.
You feel a splitting headache but are unable to remember anything else.

What do you do?

Punch the wall, exit the room.

You punch the wall.

...

"OW! Why did I just do that!?" you scream in your head.

You walk to the door and turn the knob.
The doorknob falls off the door.

Well then.

What do you do now?

Break the window with the doorknob.

Break the window with the doorknob.

You suddenly gain a moment of insight.

I can break the window with the doorknob! you think.

You strike the window with the brass doorknob, but it only bounces off.
You turn the doorknob around and strike the window again, repeating the effect.

You walk back a few metres, throw the doorknob, and it hits the edge of the window, lodging itself between the frame and the handle of the window.

The handle up, it opens by itself.

...

You look outside and see that you are twenty metres from the ground. Across from you, about twenty metres away, is another building. Between the two is a busy street.

To your left, the city expands- or, rather, it gets closer to the centre. To your right, the city ends around halfway from the end of your vision, and after it is green land and a highway.

What do you do?

Examine the door, actually. And our inventory.

Examine the door, actually. And our inventory.

You realize that you haven't even looked much at yourself, or the door whose handle broke off.

The door is made of wood. It isn't even painted, and the hinges...
Wait, what hinges?
There aren't any hinges on the door. It's firmly nailed in place.
You look closer at where the handle was. There was only a small hole!
Wait, you can see a bit on the other side.

Two people are talking.
You can't make out much more.

---

Taking inventory reveals that you still have most of your stuff, it seems.

Wait, wait.

Are we male or female?

That's a good question, we haven't decided.

Look through the hole.

Look through the hole.

Female, because reasons.

... Oh, right. You're a female.

Examine the door, actually. And our inventory.

You're still wearing all your normal clothing: your dress shirt, your skirt, your shoes, your... undergarments, and your hairpin.
You still have your purse, amazingly enough.
In it, you have your cell phone, some paper and a pen, a packet of hairpins, your wallet (a few credit cards, a debit card, a health card, and about $400 worth USD), and some hairbands.
It seems like they didn't bother taking your stuff, actually.

Or maybe not.

You then realize that you also should have a tablet computer with you, and also your keycard for your workplace.

Look through the hole.
Look through the hole.

After taking inventory, you look through the hole again.

"... so are you going to take it?"
"Well..."
"I'm pretty sure she can't hear us. Are you going to take the offer, or not?"
"... I'll take it."
"Great. Two thousand dollars for the woman."
"I'll pick her up in two hours, then."
"Good with me. I'll get her ready in a half..."

You hear one man walking out, and the other muttering to himself. You can't make it out.
You try to get a good angle to see them, but all you can see right now is a patch of black.

What do you do?

Edit: Wait, wait, wait. I'll fix a major inconsistency, then get back to you...
Edit2: I think I'm done.

Look outside again, scanning for any street signs or building names, we already know we're near the edge of the city, so we should try to get some info to tell the police if we call. Also, hairpins can be used to take out someone's eyes, so we should ready those.

You walk back to the window, taking care to be silent.

Across the street is a building. There are a multitude of balconies; probably an apartment building.

To its left is a McDonald's. That's really useful, considering that we never see a McDonald's, like, anywhere at all.

Further to its left is an intersection. You can't see the signs from here, but...

Clotmt?
Ch... Chestnut? ... and...
Cnen? Gnen?
Green?

You think you're at Chestnut and Green. You're on a building, presumable an apartment, on Chestnut.

To the (across) apartment's right is a park. It looks familiar, somehow...
Unfortunately, you can't see if there's a name anywhere.

Further right is another intersection, Chestnut and... Airport? Airport Avenue!

So this must be Chestnut Street, and the other one was... Green Lane!

You then hear a knock on the "door", and hold some of your hairpins menacingly.

What do you do? Do you wait, or do you do something else?

Isn't the door nailed in place? There's nothing to worry about yet. Still, get to the side of the door. Chances are, whoever opens it will think you went out the open window somehow and rush over to it, providing an opportunity to slip out, attack, or push them out of the window.
