((I'm skipping over Harbingerjim for the time being, since he hasn't posted.))

Chaika applies a bit of magic to her words, and shouts commands at the zombies. Two of them halt in their tracks, obedient to her, but the third only falters momentarily, and continues on. Rikas hides behind the well, and begins firing at the rogue zombie. It hits, but the abomination shrugs it off and continues advancing. It throws itself at Malkor, though it's largely ineffectual [2 damage]. Saeberth steps forth and attacks the zombie, cutting deep and hitting firmly, but it's not quite enough. Finally, Malkor makes a quick invocation to Hairuk, and waves his Holy Symbol. A beam of holy light emanates from it, hitting the zombie, and frees the soul, causing the corpse to fall into the marsh once more, inert and lifeless. [90 EXP each]

((Just noticed that I was looking at the CR for the zombies for commanding, instead of the hit dice. Oh, well, looks like Chaika has an undead slave she's not strictly supposed to have.

"Heel!" Chaika called, and the remaining two zombies stopped obediently. She giggled and clapped her hands.
"Good result! Very pleased!"

She smiled and looked around.
"What next?"

Rikas glances down the well, "That would be rather obvious, I think. Any volunteers?"

((Are you referring to the two zombies under Chaika's control? Because the one you were attacking was destroyed by Malkor.))

((which, again, wouldn't have happened if he had paid attention to the HD of the zombie and not its CR :P))

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

((Oh.

Well, Saeberth is kinda freaked out by undead. He kinda has a sort of phobia of them. Since he can't roll spellcraft checks, he also doesn't know that they're under Chaika's control.

So start whacking the next nearest one, to stay in character.))

((Yeah, I know. However, I'm also declaring that my screw ups in terms of turning and rebuking undead will be considered to have actually happened.))

((heh, this is going to be a fun party. One is a guy with a phobia to undead, another is part of an order of Hairuk dedicated to hunting undead, and another is a necromancer. We...might have a falling out within the first 5 pages :P)i

((Something will happen later on that *should* give reason for the PCs to band together. Well, it may further divide them, too, but it'll probably band you together.))

((Oh, we're not acting in initiative order? I figured that given that my initiative let the Necromancer, the Wizard and the zombies go before me, the conditions were likely to change enough to make attempts at preemptively planning my response rather dubious.))
Ishmael walks over to the well and peers down, attempting to put her fancy vision ((Darkvision 60 ft., Superior low-light vision (quadruple distances), +7 spot)) to use.
"Well this place seems rather unpleasant. Something of a hole, in fact."

Chaika ran forwards and grabbed Saeberth's arm.
"Stop! Not harming! Zombies mine now!"

((She had just called them to a halt. ))

Saeberth eyes the undead uneasily, then goes over to inspect the well-type thing.
Saeberth shudders, remembering an incident with a well when he was a boy

((Saeberth isn't going to be very happy in this campaign, is he?

((...Oh. Yeah. We should probably do something like that.))

Ishmael attempts to look down the hole, but sees little else, though she does spot a passage leading out of it.
Saeberth begins to move to attack one of Chaika's thralls, but she quickly stops him. He then goes over to inspect the hole as well, but as with Ishmael, he sees little.
