I have two questions for the DM;
First, can my starting Animal Companion be an
Spoiler: Arboreal Octopus (click to show/hide)
Second, if I already have Scribe Scroll when taking my first level of Wizard, can I take a different magic item creation feat instead of the Scribe Scroll Craft Feat a Wizard normally gets?
So a regular octopus?

Seriously, though, that's fine.

Well, since the MM Octopus already has a Land Move Speed, basically the same as that except with the Hold Breath ability so it doesn't airdrown
Spoiler: Hold Breath (Ex) (click to show/hide)
Not sure what number to put there.
Also, mostly done.

I'll give it x10.

EDIT: Also, for those of you in 'Murica:

And done.
Also, the image of my druid getting into a fight with some poor sucker, only for an octopus to burst out of a bag attached to her backpack, attach itself to the enemy's head, and attempt to eat their face cracks me up.

The best part is that you could carry around a large jug of water on your back for dramatic effect.

I considered that, but went with the waterskins instead, that way a leak in one isn't as much as a problem.

So, flameboy, are you actually working on this or should we consider it to be DOA?

It's very much alive, I'm just waiting for Daemen to make his bloody character sheet already. I'm considering kicking him from the game and getting somebody new.

EDIT: Also, finally updated the OP.

Well, looking at it, he's accumulated <100 posts in the 11 months since he's registered on B12, has been active in FG&RP very recently, and hasn't posted at all in this thread since his 'in' post more than a week ago. I'd say that it's a safe assumption that he isn't particularly interested in the game. :|

Okay, in the interest of getting the game started at some point, I'll give Daemen until tomorrow to post his sheet. If he doesn't, then I'll have to kick him.

Alright, then, Daemen's been kicked.
Do you guys want to go ahead and start the campaign, and have the 5th person to join jump in later, or wait until somebody else makes a sheet? Also, should we make a different thread for In-Character discussion, and leave this as our OOC thread?

I've noticed there tends to be a lot of OOC chatter in IC anyway.
I'd prefer to start now and let the other player join in later.

Well, unless he joins now, that is. I noticed you guys were low on a healing type, so give me a couple hours to rustle up a Cleric...

Edit:stat roll here. The dice weren't happy with me, I had to reroll several times until I got a stat distribution I was happy with

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.
