I need to do housekeeping soon. Update the Actors wiki page, write up those Maluses (Mali?) for the losers of the battles, and a few other small things. Likely Tomorrow. I'll do it then.

One way or the other, I'm not going to introduce your character until next turn, which is still likely some time a way; I have a few actions posted, but it looks like there will be some more RP to resolve first.

For now, at least ;3 . I severly doubt he will ever reach "second stage" maturity. While I find this game very enjoyable, I somehow dont think we will play long enought to get there. At least not anytime soon. Actually, even with "yearly turns", it would take quite a while...


Back to the topic at hand, seeing as there is much greek influence, I would have the picture of pretty much any of us being at least a good head taller than "our" mortals normally grow to be. With malnutrition and diseases still running more or less rampant, not difficult, and leaving us at the height of a "big guy" nowadays, but maybe that is only my impression.

Ah, the wonders of the rp-timewarp. Should the hopeful priestess get on board, I think Auratus has enough sense to not take a still civilian girl into a combat zone. Which also would convieniently explain why she was not already mentioned, like, a week ago.

So... I guess except Ketemos, everybody is back at the castle. I would think nothing too important could happen because of the other rp's that are currently going on, so starting on the meeting should be a good idea. ( Well, Sarah's reaction to the death of her child, and Pyrites reaction towards Linda might give rise to subtle change, but should be done with before we form concrete plans together ) Unless we don't want to hold a meeting this month, but really, with such happenings we are almost bound to.

Seeing as she is the temporary lord, I guess we can leave the task of calling it in to Ketari. ;3

Horizion Seeder: Prodigy class actors you create all have the taint of the Horizon Creatures in their blood. If you go two full months without attempting to create a Prodigy, you suffer a penalty of 5 to the success rate of all actions except for the attempted creation of a Prodigy. This penalty is increased by 5 for each month you ignore it. When attempting to create a Prodigy, you gain a bonus to success rate equal to 5 + Twice any penalty this Malus is presently giving to your other actions.

Horizion Actions: Each time you fail an action, you have a 1/3 chance of attempting another action of the same type in its place. This second chance action is determined by the GM, and always serves the interest of the Local Horizon Creatures, while often recklessly paying little heed to your own agenda, and the interests of your allies.

Fondness of Orcish Blood: On any turn in which Ketari or another player does not imeadiately involve them in any of his or her actions, the 1st Barker Pack will hunt Orcs, putting themselves at risk, causing diplomatic trouble if you are at peace with the Orcs, but occasionally catching/finding something useful while they are out, and always bringing back Orc Byproducts as minor resources if they are successful.

Also, You'll read the exact details of what happened during next turn's NPC report, but something handled Hugoph's prayer for vengence right at the nick of time. Three gods were involved, but since none publicly claimed credit, the universe has randomly chosen to give it to Auratus. Between all the gods invested in the prayer, and his Vengeful Nature Boon, Auratus gains 4 Prayer Energy.

Also, it would be nice if you could each post an updated character sheet with Maluses and Prayer Energy.

Scholar of the Body: You gain a 15% bonus to the success rate of all Miracles and Interactions made to improve the body of an NPC to make it healthier, happier, or more powerful. Nope. System is designed to drive conflict. Prayer is worth 1 Energy for Each god that gets even marginally involved in it, but only 1 God can claim it.

I'll have to skim it over again, but I think the only prayers I resolved was Elder Messel's request, and the one just now. Hmm.. guess Auratus is more prone to dicking around in politics, than actively seeking out prayers to fullfill. Still ain't got a prayer glass for his shrine, too. Oh well~

Embarassing Debt to House Skullcrest [Malus] - You suffer a -4 penalty to the success rate of any peaceful interaction with a Bellian educated enough to know of the foul history between House Skullcrest and dragonkind, and aware enough of current events to know of your rescue at their hands. This includes the entirety of the Bellian nobility on the island. This penalty is doubled to -8 if you are actively seeking to harm House Skullcrest or their interests, or are pursuing a cause that is blatantly draconic (acquirement of wealth, asserting the dominance of dragonkind, ect). This penalty quadruples to -16 if you are actively seeking to harm house Skullcrest while pursuing a cause that is blatantly draconic. This penalty never applies if you are acting in the interests of house Skullcrest. This penalty will be reduced to -2, and will no longer be multiplied for any reason, should you adequately and publicly pay off your debt to House Skullcrest. This penalty can only be fully eliminated by removing Skullcrest entirely from the island, or by getting on good terms with the ancient family so that the debt is less humiliating.

Boons:

The Scarlet Mirror - The large ruby in your chest is more than your centerpiece and powersource; It is also a powerful and oft sought artifact in its own right. Once per month, you may spend a miracle to activate the mirror, which will replicate without fail a miracle performed the previous month that you are acutely aware of. To be acutely aware of a miracle you must have performed the miracle or witnessed another perform the miracle right in front of you. You are also acutely aware of miracles that target one of your temples, or an actor who is loyal or bound to you. You may change the target and other small things about the context of the copied miracle. The Scarlet Mirror is somewhat corrupted by its extended stay in Tonneth’s presence, and copied miracles will sometimes be slightly changed to reflect her greedy nature. Your mother has warned you not to copy the same miracle repeatedly, lest you be caught up in a feedback loop.

Dragon Crown of Greed [Item] - One of the ancient crowns used by the dragons before the beginning of time to control mortal populations. When placed on the head of a willing mortal by a dragon as part of the proper ritual, the crown becomes bound to the mortal and the mortal becomes bound to the service of the dragon. The terms of this binding compel the mortal to serve the best interests of his dragon master, but do not allow for the dragon to force its bound servant to do anything that may cause said servant great harm. The bound mortal becomes a hero with a Combat Power of 5 if it isn’t already an actor. The crown can grant wishes for the bound mortal, but does so by draining half of the bound mortal’s remaining lifespan; This life drain is considered harmful, so the dragon may not order the bound mortal to make wishes. The dragon to whom the mortal is bound becomes immediately aware of any wishes made this way.

Soulsmith - When an actor who is bound to you dies, you may spend either a miracle or interaction to gather its soul (or souls) and craft it into an artifact without fail. You may choose the appearance and mundane function of the artifact, but any supernatural abilities the artifact has are determined by the strength and temperament of the soul used.

Vengeful Nature - Gaining satisfactory revenge against somebody who has wronged you earns you a point of prayer energy. The prayers of mortals asking for revenge are worth two points of prayer energy instead of the usual one to you.

I doubt her existance will change all too much now, but if need be we also can push that matter back into next month. Well, if you would have wanted to meet her previously, we can also arrange that.
