Suggest to Pinemoor to build a road so that we might trade and become jointly prosperous.

No border contact yet.

Our scouts and spies are really good, guys, they're just shit at diplomacy.

Keep that in mind.

Im going to guess that the independent nation closest to the barbarian tribe that spawned in going to get rocked. Will they disappear from the game or just become a barbarian city?

That's it. We've finally crossed over and become the nation of Da Orky Boyz.

Whew, only one barb anywhere near me, and it'll take forever to get to me. I think I'll be able to set up in time. As long as a barb doesn't spawn closer, I have 7 turns for that guy to make a beeline for anything important. With the claiming of the forest tile, I'll have a spearman LONG before then

Edit:Protip Role. I'd build a woodcutters in the swamp RIGHT NOW. You'd be able to raise a spearman just as the barb encroaches on you terriroty if my math isn't off

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.

Hm I was thinking of building a farm there actually

I do love me some marsh-leek stew...

I dunno man...

That marsh-leek stew is tempting...

Maybe I can bribe the barbarians with it...

If I ran one of these games, what kind of rules would you like to see implemented, and what kinds of things do you think could be changed?
I wouldn't mind playing in a game that already has established countries and diplomatic arrangements with one another. Each country could then be given a secret win-condition which they could either achieve through military might or through clever manipulation of the other players into acting in ways congenial to their goals.

That's sounds pretty interesting, starting to turn into 'Diplomacy' a bit though.

Zanz is away from the forum right now. If anyone's interested, I was considering running a game set in early medieval Britain, where all the players play historical warring kingdoms (starting the game with existing cities and territory).

I've been working on the map, and I've got the shape of the islands and the rivers done, but I've still got to do the terrain features. I'll let you all know when that's done!

Here's what I've got so far. Feel free to have a play around.
