Back inside.
(tails, failure)

Fix the ship!
(tails, failure)
You don't know where to begin. You don't even know what all is wrong with it.

Try to rip the tooth out then go back inside. (Deus then Baldwin.)
(tails, failure)
The tooth is bigger than you. You are thrown off as the bat tries to snap you up.
(heads, success)
Fortunately, you manage to sprint to safety before it can eat you.

See if the ship has any weapons installed.  If it does, turn them on.
(tails, failure)
The control panels indicate that the ship needs to be mobile to defend itself.

Hide in the fur/bristles!
(tails, failure)
A bat swoops in unseen over head, and the wind from its wings pulls you away from the ship. A giant head turns towards you...

Eh, save the ship, Do it anyway.
(heads, success)
You can sense your comrades' distress, feel their thoughts. Just a few more... Yes! As 2 more souls download into you, your glow becomes blinding. Beams of your radiance shine out the cockpit's 2 windows. Everything around you is made of tiny strings of energy tied together, and as you pour yourself into the ship's systems, spreading throughout, the strings unravel and reform. The entire ship takes on a white glow, illuminating the air around it. Indeed, the ship has an outwardly bat-like shape, but the true bats flee from the intensity of its light.
The spike in the ship's spine falls out, the cables within knit back together. Loose panels tighten. Broken mechanisms snap back into place. Pure energy crackles through the air, before coalescing into a new pipe. The shoddy patches in the air sacs fuse seamlessly into the material, making them good as new. The instruments in the cockpit begin to light again, the broken ones flickering back on, shorted circuits begin flowing with power again, cracked screens smoothing out.
Then comes the drain. You feel your mind disintegrating, splitting in half. You try to pull yourself free of the ship's systems, as you seem to be dissolving into them, losing yourself. With a mighty mental tug, you sever yourself, feeling the great power of your mind drain out into the ship and fill the rest of it's gaps. After a few seconds, both your glow and the ship's subside.

The alarms have stopped. The lights are on inside. The bats are gone.

Exit the ship and examine its exterior thoroughly.

Let's see if I'm right.

Go to the cockpit and search for the navigation system now that the ship is fully functioning.

Say through P.A Clean up on aisle three, but seriously, anyone got a soul or two to spare before I drop dead? Then, -without- reintegrating into the system, Check the control panel for information on the ship's blueprint and design. I would rather not find out the hard way if that thing woke up.

Exit the ship and examine its exterior thoroughly.

Let's see if I'm right.
(heads, success)
You walk along the side of the ship with your flashlight until you come to an enormous leathery wing resting on the ground. Walking the other way, you find a giant pair of stubby legs not far from the exit hatch.

Go to the cockpit and search for the navigation system now that the ship is fully functioning.
(heads, success)
There seems to be 2 separate systems. One, a relative coordinate system, presumably that the ship would automatically navigate to upon entering. The other, a more traditional manual override system, though instead of a throttle there seems to be a small pump lever.

Go back to the cockpit.
(heads, success)
It seems a lot cleaner in here, though the small pile of empty vessels is still there.

Say through P.A Clean up on aisle three, but seriously, anyone got a soul or two to spare before I drop dead? Then, -without- reintegrating into the system, Check the control panel for information on the ship's blueprint and design. I would rather not find out the hard way if that thing woke up.
(tails, failure)
There doesn't seem to be much in the way of a UI for the ship's computer, though one of the formerly destroyed panels features head-shaped indents.

Run for the ship/bat!
(heads, success)
Screw the outside, at least nothing tried to kill you indoors!

Walk back in.
(heads, success)
Happy to be alive, you decide it's best to head back in.

Absorb unconscious person to gain more power.
I'll just clarify this, so you don't get disappointed if you get heads. The unconscious bodies do not have souls in them yet, and so cannot be absorbed.

((I'm absorbing the body, though. Sorry of it was unclear.))
