It's hard to make out much what with all these flashing alert lights, but you do notice a large, vertical hatch in the back labeled "Outside Access." The trail of magenta-splatter footprints from back in the machine room continues up to this hatch.

The hatch seems firmly shut, so you have to tug hard to open it. When it gives, though, it flings open all the way. Fortunately, there does not seem to be any liquid on the other side, just pitch blackness. Fortunately, you still have your flashlight.
