Note: you may RP if you so choose. You don't have to try to feel an emotion then fail at it.

Search the system floor plan for a physical copy of that guide.I need to learn how to read, Over the P.A. inform people also of an important document titled "surrogate instruction manual" tell them to return it to the cockpit as soon as possible so we can figure out this mess.
(auto, since you're already patched into the PA)
A voice emanates through the ship. "So, I'm in the computer and I've found something you need to know. There's an important document titled 'surrogate instruction manual.' If any of you find it, bring it to the cockpit as soon as possible so we can figure out this mess."

You see a message from the black box appear. It reads "8 downloads completed"

Find happiness in my new identity as homunculus.
(tails, failure)
The existential questions are too much for you at the moment, especially with your newly enhanced mind.

Apply pressure, preferably with cloth! Otherwise, panic!
(heads, success)
You stumble into the medical closet and look around for something. On the ground you find a recently opened capsule, from which you take a sheet of plastic and a container labeled "adhesive." You glue it over the wound, stopping the bleeding. You still feel the buzzing sensation, but it has stopped increasing. On the wall, there is a nozzle with a button labeled "blood."

Make a spike on my chest using the materials from the medical crate!
(heads, success)
You take another sheet from the already open capsule, roll it into a cone, then attach it to your chest with the soldering tool within the capsule and some adhesive. Though you're not sure how durable it will be.

Wake up and look around.  Try to remember what happened.
(heads, success)
As your vision returns, you find yourself in some kind of large cockpit, dimly lit by red strip lights. You are surrounded by eerily featureless unconscious figures, and 2 awake, softly glowing ones. The brighter of the glowing figures seems to have its head jammed into one of the instrument panels. Many thermos-sized capsules litter the floor, which upon examination of the closest one seem to be labeled "cocoa."

You struggle to recall what happened before you fell unconscious. All you can remember is that you were somewhere else, much different, and you feel you must have come a long way while unconscious to wind up in here.

You're not entirely sure how to get the blood into your body, now that the wound is covered. You try pressing your face against the nozzle, until you feel... something. Perhaps the sensation means it will work? You press the button, and you feel the buzzing sensation begin the lessen.

But I removed the sheet, remember?  How is the closet on fire?

If closet is on fire, close door.  If not, open crates.
Also, whatever I do, move the sheet that I removed to the cockpit.

Steal the souls of some of the unconscious bodies.

Search for GPS This thing is a ship, so it has to be -somewhere- in space.

If closet is on fire, close door.  If not, open crates.
(Oops! Sorry, I overlooked this one. When you removed it, I thought you meant from the crate it was sitting on, not from the closet. Anyway, firing a flaregun indoors is nonetheless a Bad IdeaTM.)
(tails, closet is on fire)
You hurredly close the door. The door makes a *psh* sound as you close it, so maybe the closet is sealed and the fire will run out of air soon.

Steal the souls of some of the unconscious bodies.
(tails, failure)
You decide to check the bodies for more minds, as perhaps with a greater intellect you can find an answer to this existential problem. However, you don't see any more waking up, except one who's almost on its feet.

Search for GPS This thing is a ship, so it has to be -somewhere- in space.
(heads, success)
Some of the numbers you find are rather confusing, but you understand that the ship doesn't seem to be accelerating, despite the local gravitational acceleration reading as 9.81 m/s2.

Look around for a computer or instrument panel.
(tails, failure)
There are plenty in here, but you can't make any sense of them.

You get the feeling the dimmer glowing figure is looking at you

Move the sheet to the cockpit, and show it to the person there.

Wave to the dimmer glowing figure, and watch it carefully for signs of aggression.  Ask it if it knows what is going on.

((Hmm is this a player character?))
