Does this mean an imperial knight (titans are too big) is a metal gear?

Besides, I don't think you're cut out for a lasgun in the first place; you tend to twist your elbow as if you're expecting recoil. That's more of a stubber technique.

I really appreciate the summary of the new edition too, since I don't play tabletop either.

Combat phase rules came out very recently.

Functionally identically to Age of Sigmar. Not sure how I feel about it. It's unequivocally better, but also Age of Sigmar.

I now have 18 bases of Tyranid Rippers. 54 individual Rippers, and I have at least another 5 I could paint up and base.

Now if only they were actually able to compete with Termagants and Mucolid Spores for rules.  ::)

Anyway, I'm slowly continuing work on my Behemoth splinter fleet army. it's slow going, mostly because I keep painting other stuff. My 'nid scheme is actually pleasantly fast to do compared to all the god damn trim on my chaos stuff.

Bit of a blurry photo, but still, lookin' good!

How many armies do you paint mini's for? Could we perhaps get a pic of your entire collection?

I need both a better camera and to set up a proper photo booth for my minis. As is i either try to photograph them in my display cabinet, which has terrible lighting, or on my desk, which has good lightning but is a bad colour for it and is always a mess.

Been meaning to sort something better out for years, but I keep putting it off.

Here's a better photo of the front three I took a while back.

Let's see, currently Tyranids, Genestealers, Skitarii, Chaos Marines, Chaos Daemons, Dark Eldar and Harlequins a little bit, I have some Grey Knights I painted a while back, Chaos Knights and Horus Heresy Blackshields. I think that's everything not counting my Fantasy stuff, which adds some Vampire Counts, Beastmen and Warriors of Chaos to the list.

Taking a photo of all of it would be really awkward. I suspect it would take the better part of an hour or more to set them all up, and it would cover most a room's floor in the process.

All vehicles are now steam tanks.
Morkanaut has 18 wounds and loses 1 attack, 1 "WS" and 2" movement with each quarter of wounds taken.
I'd link but eh.

In other news, shadow war armageddon is going adequately. I finished with my imperials (too soon, very sad) and so am now painting up my chaos warband.
Spoiler: First man (click to show/hide)
May have bitten off more than I could chew with my slaanesh-marine though.
Spoiler: Raveager (click to show/hide)

Apologies for huge and unwieldy phone-sized images.

The first marine looks like he's caked in mud. Which is actually nice, since I assume he's nurglite. As for the slaaneshi, the neon lines do look nice but there are too few of them.

If you were going to go mostly black, shoulda done some highlighting/dry brushing first before you painted on the the sigils and stuff. You might be able to save it still by going back in and picking out some stuff with a very dark gun mental. The problem is it's two dimensional right now. Like the chain sword, tassle, armor details...picking that stuff out would do the fig a lot of good.

I agree the first one looks like it's caked in mud and that's good. However there's still a lot of detailing you could do to make it pop. If you commit to the mud thing you could go over it with a 2 parts yellow 1 part brown 1 part red wash and it get some depth in those armor crevices. They're so deep you could probably wash it then wipe off the excess.
