Hey, what does "TT" mean?  I've seen it around and usually understand via context, but what is it specifically?

Thanks, I assumed something like "statwise" which isn't far off.  I would have understood "TG" :P

Traditional Games?

In the RPGs a genestealer has SB8, an Ogryn should have a SB around 10-12 based on marines, though in Only War they're only about 3 points above a guardsman and 2 below a marine because of stupid balance decisions to make Ogryn players not all but immune to small arms fire, despite the fact they're supposed to be all but immune to small arms fire.
That's really interesting. Maybe fluffmarines just have to be Better.

Yeah, that's silly. Ogryn's aren't just big dudes, they have a stature pure humans can't match, Mountain That Rides style. The skin of a rhinoceros and the temperament to match.

You ever see someone try to kill a rhino with a 9mm pistol? That's because everybody who's ever tried is either dead or too embarrassed at their own stupidity to tell.

Complete side note, but you know how people always say Slaanesh isn't necessarily about sex but struggle to find examples?

I can help with that.

So I've finished both How I Met Your Mother and Scrubs recently.
Anybody know any vapid yet rewatchable sitcoms I can paint ||Edit: Warhammer minis|| to?

Fix'd.

Considering what Xantalos said I am not sure if Tack posted in wrong thread or not. :V

The reason the Only War ogryns got hit with the nerf bat compared to their previous incarnation, which I think had a strength and toughness bonus of 12, which meant a lasgun could only hurt a naked ogryn on a roll of 10 on 1d10+3, is because the Only War game was intended for human characters mostly, who would generally get one-shotted easily by any weapon able to hurt the ogryn and the ogryn if clad in flak armour would be completely immune to things like autoguns and lasguns. Instead they just get a +2 to their strength and toughness bonus, and a boost to their base strength and toughness stat so they aren't massively more powerful than other characters.

A toughness bonus of 12 would mean that a naked ogryn is tougher than the strongest armour in RT 1e, which has an armour rating of 10.
Artificer power armour? Pfft, just strap ogryn skin to you and call it a day

A naked space marine in the rpgs is already as tough as power armour is, so an ogryn being as tough as terminator armour makes perfect sense to me.

I did actually fight an armoured ogryn once in a Dark Heresy game. It was so durable we couldn't actually harm it with any of the weapons we had, so we set it on fire, which also couldn't hurt it because fire does a max of 1d10 damage -TB, then let it build up Fatigue levels for being on fire until it fell unconscious.

Yeah I'd imagine ogryns as never being PC's, but being friendly or enemy NPC's which are amazingly difficult to hurt and amazingly easy to outsmart.
Which should mess up the 'kick down door' gamers.

In the words of Alfa: Rogal Dorn does live in the real world. He lives in the realist world.

So, if Custodisi is boring one and Whammudes is the creepy one, what does that make Karstodes? I'd say he's the fabulous one, but that's all of them.
