Not to mention various Warmasters... after all, doesn't very Imperial Guardsman carry Lord Commander Solar's Power Sabre in his backpack? By the Emperor, He Himself is first and foremost Human from Human and He is of one Being with Humanity. There are different sorts of men. I have seen many in my time. Damned men and lost men and men who have ascended into a status beyond our own. The last sort are different from those who are more standard, more in line. Those normal people are necessary.

I am not one of them. As an inquisitor, I am in a different class. I order worlds to be burned and bring forth hammers of light upon His foes.

And the Emperor? A god in all but flesh. With power and with beyond all other, he is man made manifest while we are but shadows of His glory.

The High Lords are but man, true. But the power they wield, the authority and experience...that brings them closer to Him then many will ever even comprehend.

So just another "We're Eldar, you're humans, let's be friends until we inevitably betray you" situation? Its that plotline and their treatment of other sentient species as little more then cattle that make me dislike the Eldar.

'Trust not the Eldar', said Artemis, his words thick with hatred.

"We are the sons of Death, you and I" said the Eldar. "We bring oblivion, in order to deny Chaos. We cannot afford to thwart one another when the greater enemy stands on the cusp of victory".

Artemis narrowed his eyes. Strangely, he could sense no duplicity in this one.

"Walk away", said the harlequin, "and a dire blow shall fall upon the Arch Enemy." Artemis recoiled at the term as the Eldar spoke on. "Is your distrust so deep you would rather kill me now than spare the doom of a trillion human souls?" There was disbelief under his tone, and something else. Despair, perhaps.

'Yes,' said Artemus, pulling the trigger to end the creature's life.

I Feel it needs mentioning that Ynnead isn't a god opposed to humanity at all.

There's far more, but all I got was 'humans are shit'.

That's a completely reasonable action given the shit that Eldar pull on a regular basis.

Well. That's unsatisfying in the extreme. Could have had a nice moment of redemption there considering that, well, humans are shit. Or perhaps some lesson on not fucking with potential allies.
