*still salty there's no lizardmen equivalent in 40k for me to rabidly promote*

-No Free Will
-Genetically modified to serve caste system
-Serve inscrutable greater purpose
-Would be a roadblock for Chaos if they were anywhere near each other
-Not an existential threat to humanity
-Not genocidal to other species but become murderous when own cultural standards are violated
-Basically designed as humans fused with an animal species
-Unusual technology compared to other groups
-Hands down weirdest creation of the Old Ones
-Very low population compared to other species
-Leaders never make their true goals clear, ever

Am I describing the Tau or the Lizardmen?

I.. Don't think the Tau are genetically modified. They've always been that way.

A species does not split into distinct biological castes related to things like DIPLOMAT or SPACE TRAVEL without modification.

Well, they've been gene-modded the old fashioned way by selective breeding.

Why would you reverse engineer anything puny blue men related, when imperial tech is superior?

They are, kind of. Ethereals enjoy eugenics (there was literally no inbreeding between castes for like, whole recorded history after Ethereals came out of ass, and you could easily think it's genetics if you consider that Air caste lost their gliding membranes somewhere over the years and stuff) and proably were genetically modified themselves by some Eldar creeps or something.

Also have I mentioned that I am back in home which means SHITTY WH40K ART YAY!

Quick, I need cool Imperial Navy colour schemes other than usual Green/White/Gold.
With examples please.

Red. Nothing but red.

The example is that one time the Emperor's enemies were destroyed utterly by the holy firepower from a hundred thousand ships and their blood, unworthy though it was, splashed against the ships of the Imperial Navy.

It was quite brutal actually. Who knew you could suffer major head trauma from undergarments?
