I don't know why but when I think of fast battlesuit I always  imagine them with this gait:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

it seems easier from an engineering standpoint to match the push on the last joint movement, less stress for middle joints than pushing from the thigh and you could even be locking them in place and rotating at the hip ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

One of the biggest issues with walkers of all kinds is contact area. Heavy things with small feet just don't work, they damage floors, render bridges unusable, and get stuck in mud like nobody's buisiness.

If only we had some sort of high surface area movement device to allow the walker to have better treading, like some sort of endless foot that doesn't have to walk.

I mean, you could give them bigger feet. Or more feet. Spider-walkers might work a little better, at least if you didn't go full retard and give them spike-feet or something.

I mean, the wings on a lot of Imperial vehicles are decorative/stabilisers. Half the Space Marine ones are capable of surface-to-orbit flight, after all. The Imperium does not lack thrust.

Today I was tragically disappointed. I used the dawn of war army painter to make my orks red, and they were not faster...

More Orky boyz means more WAAGGH! power which is what makes red things go faster. You need more Orky boyz.

Hmm... I guess I don't really know. Is eldar blood red?

I know at least some of the races don't have red blood, but I forget if eldar are one of them.
