I dunno. One regiment is a couple of grand, probably.
Quick googling tells me there's 200,000 regiments [Citation Required]

So, probably 200-500 grand.

Infrastructure probably would cost a bit more. I could imagine a large amount of imperial bastions and such, plus the gate stones would have to be a custom job... Not sure where you'd store it though, even with the scale a planet is a planet.
You'd have to set up some kind of crazy rotating table scaffold thing. Which would be awesome but at that point probably another half-million dollars at least.

It's not an easy question to answer.

That's not the right answer.
I mean it's wrong but also it's not the kind of answer I was looking for.

Let me ask again (it's really simple answer).
What is Cadia worth?

The imperium isn't "dark grey" on the inside, it's the off-White on the surface with the wars and heroism, then the only black of being an almost unimaginably brutal hyper fascist regime which condemns untold billions to live in the blackest and most horrendous conditions possible, clad hickey around the rock-hard gleam of the White inside that that is the one way for Hunanity to survive.

That's like, the thematic point of the Imperium.
Sure, it's like Syria, DPRK, Burkina Faso and the Roman empire gangbanged the gothic ideals for a few thousand years of utter misery to the impossibly vast majority of those within it, but it really is the best there is.

Despite playing Tau, I don't actually know enough of their new edgy dark lore to comment.

Uh. You've got me on the ropes here.
In the grand scheme of things, jack all.
But in terms of the imperium, Cadia probably is a greater military force than.. Every space marine.

One thing - I am not saying that having an Tau army automatically makes you bad, just arguing that in universe it's wrong to join them.

Didn't Creative Assembly create a human faction (Scrubs or something)

And they apparently hated them soo much they adamantly refused to ever make models for them again and did something extremely childish and petulant... But I cannot remember what.
Squats. Creative Assembly didn't create them.

Alright, question.

I've been reading War of the Krork and am wondering of B12 has run any 40k based quests?

A bunch, and IIRC, all of them were absolutely heretical.
There was one about a Comissar sent to Star Wars universe recently.

Oh. That is heretical.

I ask because I (as I am wont to do) have been considering running one. Wasn't sure if it was a good idea to do it here or not, but if theres a over saturation of HERESY, I'll do it elsewhere!

Well we mostly decided to spread the word of the Emperor to the heathens, and were helping put down the traitorous rebels and sword-using psykers.
