Sometimes it starts to look, like horus heresy was partially engineered by emperor.

So yep, BT's are now a standard chapter (thankfully still not compliant) who love sanctioned psykers and only don't have librarians because of a "rare geneseed quirk".
Must be a grimdark cleanup.

It makes a bit of sense, consdering that Black Templars need to be on at least okay terms with Navigators and Astropaths or they wouldn't get anywhere.

Decided to pick up the Crimson Slaughter supplement reprint today, and have decided it may be fun to build a Dark Apostle of Khorne to march with my World Eaters when I decide to use them with the ghost boys rules.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I have a DA of Khorne already, but he's literally just a finecast DA with a berzerker helmet and a flamer. Looks terrible by my current standards, so here's a new guy who'll look far more appropriate with the current World Eaters forces I field.

Ooh. AoSigmar mashup?
I can always get behind those.

It makes a bit of sense, consdering that Black Templars need to be on at least okay terms with Navigators and Astropaths or they wouldn't get anywhere.
"TAKE US TO THIS SYSTEM, WITCH."
'I'm actually an astropath, we send and recieve messages'
"I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE AND IF OUR BROTHERS NEED TO DELIVER US A MESSAGE THEY CAN DO IT FROM WITHIN SWORD-RANGE. NOW CAN YOU FLY THIS THING OR SHALL YOU END UP LIKE THE LAST WITCH-PILOT?"
'No.. I don't have-'
"SEND A MESSAGE TO THE NEAREST IMPERIAL VESSEL"
"INFORM THEM WE ARE COMMANDEERING THEIR WITCH-PILOT"

It's their dark secret that none of them know but the secret circles (Like DA) that their ships have astropaths and navigators - only the regular humans aboard their ships ever interact with them. They have a "Machine Controller" who is actually just the guy who transmits info from the astropath/navigators to the templars.

If even Khorne worshippers can tolerate the presence of (enslaved) psykers, I think it's reasonable to expect the Black Templars to be a little more tolerant than that. If the Black Templars were even more anti-psyker than the war priests of the god of anti-psyking there'd be something odd going on.

Yeah, but Khornate Sorcerors exist. No Black Templar will ever be a Librarian. Chaos is far less consistent than the Imperium. That's why it's Chaos.

This has only been partial sarcasm.

Yeah, but Khornate Sorcerors exist.

Only in the delirious ramblings of Goto, whom we shall not speak of.

Khorne tends to hate more on sorcerers than on renegade librarians, though.

Khorne's ok with sorcerers so long as they don't use their powers or only use them to dispel other sorcerers' spells. He's also ok with them summoning daemons, so long as they're Khornate daemons.
