Orks and Pulsar abusing Eldar are literally only two things I can't deal with. Like, I don't think I won a single serious (I had a few where they used mostly escorts but even then they usually took out a ship or two of mine) battle against Orks in multiplayer, I just can't seem to find a tactic that works against them.

So... I got my whole fleet wiped out so I got stuck with substitute cruiser...
In a fucking 790 point Cruiser Clash game... WHICH I THEN PROMPTLY WON BECAUSE THE ORK GUY (he must have been an idiot tbh) HAD NO FUCKING IDEA HOW TO COUNTER MY FIRESTORM SPAM.

It's better now. It's still annoying as fuck and murders Eldar with no mercy because they don't have shields but it's better now.

How's so (lore wise) they don't have shields? Aren't they supposed to be the pinnacle of technology.

Eldar use holofields which make them harder to hit by messing with the targeting systems of enemy ships. Weapons like the Nova Cannon and torpedoes aren't really aimed at enemy ships, more the general area around them, so they're unaffected. I would assume why they use that and not shields would be Eldar thinking "better to not be hit at all and make the enemies look like inaccurate fools in the process".

I don't think you understand just how pretentious Eldar are. Dark Eldar are even worse, they don't even wear clothes and skim around on space-bikes.
