The amount of HERESY in this thread is horrendous and you should be all ashamed.
So Emperor x Queen OTP?
False analogy. AFAIK, Tyranids don't exactly have the same level of intelligence as humans and any similarities between both situations are due to different causes.
Well it's known that they gave him unexplained power to create the primarchs and he reneged on the deal to give the primarchs over to them
Except no. The Primarchs were genetically engineered from Big E own DNA and each one them made for exact purpose, which was imprinted in them so hard that even when they were raised in random environment they still defaulted to the task Emperor planned for them. Chaos Gods just think they did it because they fucked them around which was partially responsible for what they would become in future. Also because they're dicks.
No, the Tyranids are just the Old Ones. The real question is, what are they running from?
No, they aren't both. Old Ones are almost completly extinct, but it's believed that maybe the Slann are devolved Old Ones, due to some similarities. As for the what they're running from - they're not running from, they're running to. After consuming previous Galaxy (which could be their own or maybe just another one of many) they got attracted by Big E big shining beam of physic fuck you called Astronomican.
All gods are chaos gods. The Emperor is merely the Chaos God of Order.
This... isin't exactly true. The Emperor COULD be Chaos God of Order in future, right now there is a single, little, thing that stops him from being one, which is His own rotten body on the Golden Toilet. To be a Chaos God he would have to be an completly Empyrean (Immaterial) entity. Right now he's just the most powerful psyker ever, with power that rivals Chaos Gods and that puts his future in Warp in pretty good light, as there won't be anything powerful enough to mindfuck him and eat the remains.

May be the astronomicon turn off will be just a single moment, and the brighter light will appear.
The original emprah  was just 100 psykers combined without really much faith in him, and that was enough for great crusade.
Reformed emperor may have power of those billiards of unlucky psykers fed to him combined with  faith of million worlds.
He surely had enough time to think about faults in his first plan, may be after all those years on throne he even understood, that empathy actually matters.
the "earth shamans reincarnated into EMPRAH" is really, really old lore iirc.
i dont even know what the rest is implying.
the emperor is a rotting corpse, massive psyker powers or no. he can't come back on account of being a rotten corpse. also, on account of lots of daemons patiently awaiting the imperial webway to re-open and turn Holy Terra into a daemon world.

Black Library canon says the Primarchs were made with a mixture of science and sorcery, the latter of which is supposed to have been stolen from the Chaos Gods in some fashion, hence them being irritated by the whole deal enough to send a Chaos Marine back in time to destroy the Geller Field protecting the infant Primarchs from the Gods. To some extent they consider themselves the real fathers of the Pimarchs, though it's possible this is just them being the lying bastards they're known to be.

EDIT: On an unrelated note, does anyone know any art of chaos mutants that's particularly good? I'm looking for inspiration for a R&Hs army I'm working on.

Except that most Tyranids aren't sentient which forbids them from forming groups without leadership from some psyker creature, and even then they're limited to it's intelligence, which is still fucking dumb in most cases, while humanity proved that they were more than capable of forming solid governments without Emperor, as the Warp travel without Astronomican is possible, even if pretty hazardous and much slower.
Read up on this, it's pretty cool, even if the creator picked only few theories.
Except no. The Primarchs were genetically engineered from Big E own DNA and each one them made for exact purpose, which was imprinted in them so hard that even when they were raised in random environment they still defaulted to the task Emperor planned for them. Chaos? Maybe, Chaos Gods are usually pretty honourable in their own wicked way, but... not fucking Lorgar. He is the most manipulative, deceitful, and purely evil hypocrite this side of Universe, except maybe First Chaplain Erebus which was his most trusted sidekick and the guy who basically single-handely caused that world went to shit again, just because he felt like it.
Except canon in Wh40k literally doesn't exist. And Chaos Gods are angry that somebody is using magics without their allowance because their overinflated ego makes them think everything comes from them despite that they're just really angry little teenagers that make things happen with their minds. Also, hell, even if they're somehow right for once, it's still cool because Emperor knowingly fucked over four beings of immense power for the sake of humanity. It's a fucking Prometheus all over again.
This... isin't exactly true. Well, not much would change really. The existence of Chaos Gods don't exactly make everyone turn into rage-fueled sex machines manipulating people to spread space AIDS. As for the Chaos Undivided - a lot of people mistake the terms due to fucky naming. The Chaos Undivided of Malal (which, funilly enough, is theorized to be the missing Primarch (as in, fucking man made God) of missing XI Legion. His sacred number is XI, Sons Of Malice (aka the CSM that follow him) center their rituals and trophies around the number XI too, and those guys own too much of pre-heresy stuff to be just some random marines that went renegade sometime after HH), which is basically Chaos God Of Chaos (as in, anarchy) which is basically being random as fuck. There is also the "Neutral" Chaos Undivided which is basically doing things for your own reasons, which would be closer to Man Emperor of Mankind, but still...
Anyway, this is all bullshit theories because we all know that what truly will happen is that Orks hijack the Golden Throne and use the WAAAGH effect to heal the Emperor so they can have da bigga and badda Boss in da univershn.

Not mutants, but here's an awesome picture I came across recently of Khornate Guardsmen. I wish there were more like this, Lost and Damned gets almost no attention, and Chaos Guardsmen (not cultists) virtually nothing within that.

Also, while we're on stories, you should all regal yourselves on Da Tragedy of Hamlet, Boss of Denmark.

I don't get. If nothing is canon, then M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-ULTILASERS don't exist. And if everything is canon but not everything is true, there's a chance that M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-ULTILASERS are true. We wouldn't want that, would we?
Well, not much would change really. The existence of Chaos Gods don't exactly make everyone turn into rage-fueled sex machines manipulating people to spread space AIDS.
Which came first, the murderous chicken or the egg murder? Zen for the 41st millennium
Emperor came first, of course. Chaos Gods came after, with Nurgle gaining sentience after Black Death, Khorne during Mongolian Invasions, Tzeentch (for some reason) during the renaissance and Slannesh during the Fall Of Eldar (which happened even after Emperor came to power on Terra).
As for the Chaos Undivided - a lot of people mistake the terms due to fucky naming. The Chaos Undivided of Malal (which, funilly enough, is theorized to be the missing Primarch (as in, fucking man made God) of missing XI Legion. Chaos undivided is many things and Malal will never be fluff
Malal is in the fluff already, you know it's true. Also Chaos Undivided is many things because it's ANARCHY INTERSTELLAR.
Here's a question, who's worse: Goto or Ward?
Goto at least didin't fuck with Codexes as much as Ward. I mean, Goto M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-ULTILASERS didin't cause much disturbance in the "canon", while Ward caused everyone, ever, to hate Ultramarines and Grey Sues. Consider that Ward left mainly due to real-life death threats...
Could some explain the multilasers thing? I don't know what it is.
It's basically a lot of standard issue Imperial Guard flaslights put together, used in some things like Chimeras becuase it's cheap and weak. Obviously, as we all know, there is no fucking Terminator M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-ULTILASERS squads, M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-ULTILASERS on Land Raiders, M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-ULTILASERS on fucking space ships or M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-ULTILASERS on Goto's own dick because it could get only so erect from writing Eldar torture scenes so there is no place to strap them on.
