I'm looking first and foremost for that one where the Tau officer kills Slaanesh Marine, just because it's the one that had the most stuff in it. Saw it from fa/tg/uys but I'm not sure if I still have it, seems not much people on googlefu have it still either. I forgot to mention as well something they brought up, but there's a hilarious bit where the Tau commander tortures one of the Slaaneshi cultists for information but gives up after it appears to enjoy it.

Blueberry commander just begins irritatingly telling whoever it is making that static to turn off their microphone.
My sides just entered the Warp and are on a crash course with The Brass Citadel.

Ok to be fair, Ultramar is basically one civil war away from being its own Imperium.

Really? Huh.

I mean, they know to some extent what the Warp is, or at least the higher ups do. Not exactly what it is, of course, but there are psychic xenos within the Empire and they still make use of it to get around, they're just slower (but more reliable, thankfully) than Imperial travel, since they don't actually enter it and don't need Gellar Fields and the like. Though that last might be partially because they've got so little warp presence.

I always thought of their defining characteristic as naivety.

Dem Kroot though.

If a Kroot ate enough Eldar, would they become a psyker?

And if a Kroot ate enough Jokaero, would they become a tech-genius?

Finally, if a Kroot ate enough geneseed, would they become loyal to the Emprah?

Calgar seems to be too stupid for it and Rawbut Girlyman is sleeping, so only something really big (like the Throne failing), would cause them to make it.

The real question here is, If Kroot ate the Emperor, would he become Emperor?

If a Kroot ate enough Eldar, would they become a psyker?

Pretty sure I read a bit of old fluff about them doing just that.

A bunch of space marines made planetfall to fight some purple xenos that could go invisible and looked different from anything they'd seen. When they killed them they turned into Kroot. The explanation given was that the Kroot had consumed copious amounts of Eldar and gained telepathic powers that let them project different forms into the space marines minds and remove themselves from peoples sense of sight.

Not a clue if it's still canon though, I think Kroot have undergone a few fluff revisions over the years.

Kroot could very well be like the tyranids if you gave them space ships and the intelligence to build an advanced infrastructure.

You mean like the spaceships they have?

What do you mean by advanced infrastructure, though?

They can build technology on their own. They build spaceships on their own, after all. Colonized quite a few worlds before the Tau met them.

They just happened to then be taken over by Orks.

They did from what I recall.

The Shapers decided it was stunting their evolution as a species so the Kroot decided not to use most advanced technologies like cars and planes except when shared by someone else.

They still have spacecraft and the facilities to create them so they can spread off world.

For me, even tough I'm a IG guy all the way, I really like the Tau, both like them (to be the second faction I play the most on dawn of war) and like them being in the game because they bring some variety to the mix, not only by themselves but by their allies and proxies. Hell they even brought back the Dwarf in SPACE, well, sort of.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?
My ship exploded midflight, but all the shrapnel totally landed on Alpha Centauri before anyone else did.  Bow before me world leaders!

Except not really. Also, Squats still exist, obviously. It's just foul warp trickery.
