Vulkan left to do... something. Not sure what. Presumably making something or fighting something.

Sort of yes, some memetic characters like Marbo don't exist anymore.

Also not sure how effective such a list would really be, Pask doesn't mesh all that well with Creed for example because they're designed to work with different types of army. Creed is a force multiplier for mostly infantry based forces, Pask for tank based forces, and trying to divide your points between the two reduces the potential of both.

Anyway, I have nearly finished another model. It would be properly finished but I dropped it's backpack grenade launcher and can't find it.

Nice paint, I am at my standard 6 Jealous.

Also re: dreamteam switch out Marbo for Colonel 'Punched a Landshark' Straken, and 'some epic commissar' is Yarrick and you should be ashamed you don't know that.

Didn't Russ just sort of wander off into the warp-set, telling his warriors he'd be back when he was needed, some shit? I think he at least realized the presence of the primarchs unbalanced the galaxy. Khan probably came to the same conclusion.

Russ' obsession with wolves persisted to the very end. The Space Wolves certainly believe in the existence of the "Wolftime", but now that I think about it I'm not sure there's ever been anything confirming Russ actually told them anything like that. Dude was pretty fucked in the head, what with his other obsession being the belief he was the intended failsafe against his brothers.

Khan never cared. The more recent stuff showed he was even the single closest loyalist to joining Horus, before the nightmarish chaos thing became public. Even then, the White Scars literally sat out the heresy all the way to the Battle of Terra. Khan is in many ways Angron's counterpart, in that they both hated the powerful and unjust so much it made them incompatible with the Emperor's vision. The only difference is that Angron decided to throw his life and humanity away proving the point while Khan took advantage of his autonomy to just not do anything he disagreed with.

After all that, it is no surprise at all that Khan wrote off the Imperium and left everyone, even his own sons.

It's full of xenos.

On the subject of All The Heroes guard list, you just need enough points that the specialised forces that each of the commanders synergies well with can all be taken.
(Ofc then That Guy takes eight nights and shitsomps you)
