Does cardboard exist in 40k? If so, what's it called?

You can probably get away with calling it cardboard. :P
And please tell me this has to do with hiding in cardboard boxes.

How do you think most STC printouts work?

I know of Nothing with a 3+ save for 6pts.
That sounds unlikely

Kabalite warriors have a 5+ save. I have a pretty hard time imagining any dark elves which aren't vehicles having a 3+

People who knowingly tell massive falsehoods like "my cheap unit are actually MEQs" should have their figures publically compacted.

It's common enough that every group has one. Usually it's just a misunderstood rule or something, but hey.

I find it odd how armour saves, invulnerable saves and terrain saves are exclusive. A terminator in a force field in a bunker is just as protected as a guardsman hiding behind that terminator. I get that it's to not bog the game down in infinite rolls, but I imagine as a thought experiment you made the rolls not exclusive, harming a space marine with a guardsman equivalent would be as difficult as it is in lore. Sans heavy weapons of course. One of my favourite lore battles has a spehss mahrin commander in rather Iliad fashion detail the 200 year career of a veteran right before they're hit by a guardsman's krak missile

Terrain no longer grants a save, it now gives +1 to saves, or +2 for certain terrain types. One of the 8th ed changes I really like.
