Well, looks like it's time for that most fun of plot devices, the drug-induced vision.

Insert command

nofuckingclue
*BlitzDungeoneer.exe is processing command*
Neither do I.
It make more sense than everyone knowing about the virus, that's for sure.

And if everyone knew it'd be killed so many times over it wouldn't even be funny.

What?

Here is a fact. I have no clue what you're saying.
How the hell would it be dead so many times it wouldn't even be funny?

All the skilled players would instantly go after it. It's not like we're that special.

To get to it you have to clear all the rest of the game first through unknown numbers of bosses, enemies, traps and other players getting in your way. It would take months or years at a minimum just to get strong enough to get anywhere near to the final boss while it's hitting you with everything it can think of.

As for how we all know? It will tell us, the game begins as normal then we're all alerted to the fact that we're trapped in the game and that dieing means dieing for real.

I wouldn't know about some secret mission either I'm a teenage girl on a game not James bond.

How? This is a game far more advanced then any of our real ones. It could easily have far more content then any of ours.

Then factor in the need for sleeping, eating, drinking, gathering materials, recruiting, actually finding things in an enormous non linear world where you have no idea where anything actually is and don't have a nice map with quest markers to show you which way to go.

And most importantly, you don't have the option of oh I died well I just spawn again and come back. You die and your dead for good which is going to slow down everybody but the suicidal idiots who will die pretty quickly.

You make it sound like this isn't a MMO.

Uhm, thats what an mmo is except we don't have access to the normal mmo systems like a map sceen with markers on it for us. You have to find it all out yourself as you go.

Then remember your mind still thinks you need food, drink and sleep but it's not aware of your physical body because that's been redirected to the virtual one. Meaning you have to take care of your physical needs in the game or your body is unaware of it.

Not to mention that no group in mmo history has cleared high end bosses in a single attempt, they got killed and kept coming back to try it over. We don't have that option this time we have to go slow and careful.

And to use the hated SAO as an example.

It had 100 floors each the size of an entire small continent in which you had to find 1 boss in a room the size of a large house and kill it to unlock the next floor but the room could look like anything and be anywhere.
It's not the kind of thing you find in a couple of days.

This could be bigger or smaller then that depending on what Blitz decides.

So basically you want an MMO that is easy to complete and will hold your hand?
