You go off to find a cat of some sort, presumably as a servant. You do realize Tarnoth will try to kill him, right? Meh, whatever. Anyway, after 10 minutes of searching, and not finding any cats, you procede towards the cave. You then notice that the cave is far too dark to see anything, let alone follow Tarnoth. Nonetheless, you enter, and cannot see anything at all. This is slightly... annoying.

I wonder if we could get a plus 1 to possessing a sword, so long as we are fighting while we do it...

Would that be a +2 due to both owning the sword and taking control of it, since both are different forms of "possession"?

Meh.
If we cannot see, neither can he. Camp out here, maybe start a forest fire from a safe distance.

You decide that, if you cannot see, Tarnoth almost defintely can't. You proceed to float slowly in the directin you think the exit was, and soon enough exit. You then shoot a small fireball from a safe distance at a nearby tree, hoping to start a forest fire. It misses, and goes shooting off towards the sky.

You attempt to find some sort of feline creature. After a few minutes of searching, you find a kitten of some species or other, you don't really know which. It swipes at you playfully, as kittens are wont to do.

Possess kitten, absorb memories.

Either this leads us to humans, if it's a pet, or to it's mother, if wild.

(Be honest GM, Are we derailing here or is it fine to forget about this sphere thing?)
possess the kitty and try to find some kind of path, or use the memories of the elf to remember where one might be.

You attempt to possess the kitten (21 vs 6) and take complete control of it's body, complete with memories. It appear that this kitten is wild, and is very, very young. You consult Wimir's memories for a path, and remember that way to the North of where you met both Wimir and Tarnoth is a small village.
