Huh. I never really noticed, but apparently most of the Bay12ers here are pyromaniacs.
I am, actually, but there's a difference between being a pyromaniac and being a stupid pyromaniac. Ugh. Could we at least accomplish something before screwing ourselves over?

... I never thought I would have to be the one to say that.
But.. But.. The trees.. They beg for the flame.. They're so cold..

You Just realized this?
I don't really see any Bay12ers interact with fire much, excluding DF, and in DF it is a perfectly viable tactic. Excuse me for not noticing.
That was sorta meant as a joke, sorries if it came across as rude.

Well I would think that we could like float above the forest and shoot a fireball without bursting into flames. Otherwise fire magic would be completely and utterly useless, since we couldn't use it without catching on fire.

There is no logical reason for us to burn down this forest, particularly when we might need the lumber later. Also, nearby towns might not like it.

*snip* nearby towns might not like it.
And here's the problem. Let's possess them first and order them to ignore the burning forest. Also that's how we get slaves minions.

we might need the lumber later
Well... Let's get minions, who will cut down the forest. Burn nearby towns instead of the forest.

Well, you can't find anyone, what with being in the forest in the middle of the night. There was a cave somewhere, but you passed over it in favour of searching for people to possess.
So, what do you do?

Move to the edges of the forest and search for a town, of course.

((Note: This was a problem that Yourmaster had. If you're doing a suggestion game, a larger post size generally helps, or a series of spoilers at the bottom with Spells/Status/Inventory, not in that order. Short posts like this that aren't really giving any information aren't particularly interesting. A difference being in games with multiple characters, in which case - to me, at least - shorter bits for each character are fine.))

Go back and try to find the cave again.

After a large amount of floating over the trees, you finally reach the edges of the town. God, did that take long or what? It seems that the sun is one the verge of sunrise, actually. You wonder what happens when the sun's rays touch you. Maybe you're set on fire? Who knows? You'll probably find out soon, though. You proceed to float around the edges of the forest, trying to locate a village so that you may possess someone or other. You can't find any villages whatsoever, and jut when you give up hope on there being any living beings here, you hear sounds of talking.
"So, think that orb is here?" Well, this one is obviously a male, judging form his voice. It sounds a bit gravelly, too, if that makes sense.
"God, I hope so. We've been searching for months." This one is a bit harder to discern. It sounds slightly feminine.
What do you do?

As cool as it would be to be ruling over the world with an iron fist as a female, I think we should wait to see who has less willpower, after all, we shouldn't need to wait that long to find out.
actually, yhea, 1+ to possessing the female! there can't be too much of a diffrence.

You float towards where you think the voices came from. Upon arrival, you see a fairly tall bearded fellow with an oversized axe hanging from his back, and he's wearing some damn fine iron armour. The other person is...
An elf, and a male one. So, not a female. He's wearing some leather armour, along with a BFS strapped to his back. It's really fairly amusing, because once you get a close look at him, you notice he's really friggin' muscular, and then you think that the voice might have come from either...
Thank god you can't talk, or make any sound at all. You might have started laughing there. Anyway, you wait for one of them to talk so as to determine which one is the possesor of the feminine voice.
-10 minutes later-
Finally, one of them speaks!
"Dammit, where the hell is that orb?!' That comes from the bearded fellow, and it's the vaguely gravelly voice. You attempt to possess the elf (9+1+1 vs 4+?) and you succeed. You suddenly find yourself beside the bearded fellow, in possession of a muscular body. You can hear the elf screaming at the back of your head to let him back out.
What do you do?

Fall to the ground, pretend to faint, or be dizzy, so the other person gets concerned.

Then, we can claim something wiped our memory, and we can ask him what we were doing in this place again.

Also mentally reassure the elf that you meant no harm, but knew that you would be attacked in your normal form. Apologize and ask him about himself.
