could not find a free version of the movie, so i watched about an hour of clips i could find, Sweet movie, (Insert name here) is the thing because hias breath wasn't visible, fire is bad, the thing like tentacles and creepy slimey animal things. and it is ALMOST capable of remaining undetected for long periods of time, great movie all in all.

An iceberg drifts, floating through the current. Time passes. The earth turns. The iceberg begins to melt. Something stirs within. A fishing trawler, of a crew no more then fourteen catches something that would have best been left undisturbed. As the net of fish is emptied upon the deck, the ice shatters, sending its slowly waking contents tumbling with the fish. The sun burning the last stubborn fragments of ice from its groggy form.
