Alassra smiles gently,

"I'm afraid you may be looking in the wrong place for employment. I have little funds, and few attack a peaceful priestess."

Kyle nods.

Alassra shrugs.

"You could try that eccentric gentleman over there. I'm sure he has an interesting story."
She points at the man with the pack.

Kyle nods before frowning.
"What's that thing on his robe."

[4maskwolf]

Alassra peers closer at it and frowns,

"That's... Not a religious symbol I know. Yet how he wears it makes it seem like it is an order of some sort. Why don't you go ask?"

Kyle shrugs and gets up to tap the man on the shoulder.

((Ouch, I hate missing game start))

A young women dressed in a plain chain shirt and leather clothing enters the tavern and sits at the bar, ordering a mead and putting her pack down next to her stool. Some whispering and muttering can be heard as she entered, as well as some pointed chuckles and pointing. The young woman sighs and ignores them as best she can, sipping her mead.

Alassra frowns at the people who are laughing and muttering and stands up, draining her beer. She walks up to the counter to get another beer, glancing back at the woman.

[RangerCado]

She looks up at  the lady who approached her. Judging by the clothing, a priestess of some kind. This could be good, or bad...

Regardless, she gives a smile and a wave as she approached, trying to appear nice.

Alassra sits down across from the woman.

"Here often? The other bar goers seem to know you."

[RangerCado]

"One drunken night in particular, but yes, i'm here pretty often."

[Angle]

Someone whispers to the bard, and a mean grin dart across his face. He clears his throat and begins a bawdy tune, about a wandering swordswoman who seduces everything from the innkeepers wife to the queen of the orcs. Several of the bar patrons cheer and try to sing along, though they're a little to drunk to do so.

Kyle blinks.
"I'd buy that woman a drink just for having the courage to do that."

"...And I thought they had gotten over the songs two days ago." She sighs and puts her free hand on her sword handle.

While the patrons are focused on the bard, a cloaked figure slips in quietly, with little noise coming from her opening or shutting of the door. Old habits die hard.
Grabbing a seat at the bar, she waves over the bartender.
"Gimme a shot of your strongest stuff and a cigarette."
While waiting for her booze, she glances down the bar.

orders a mug of bear

She can't help but stare at the woman with the ferocious predator in her mug.
