Town is that way.  Ril absentmindedly points towards the town. I don't even need to have read a map to know, the laylines are distorting around it, probably a decent number of mages around there.

The fact that the town can actually be seen from there makes Rasheed's question a bit silly. It was, quite literally, almost all downhill from here. The town would be in trouble if it ever flooded, but has had the good fortune that it has never happened yet. An unseen animal jumps from one tree to another, causing an acorn to fall on Lytle's head. Minor karmic vengeance!

Ammilek is piling leaves on top of the sleeping guy, to teach him a lesson. It's rather funny to watch her struggle to do this, having only one arm.
