Kyle sighs and points to the specialty drink advertised on the board.

Bartender: Puts the ales away. Brings out two  beige drinks then places them on the counter.

Kyle smiles and takes them along with the room key he presumably got.
"Thank you."
He goes back to the table and sets down the drinks and keys.

Ammilek can't drink for obvious reasons. Nor does she normally sleep. Kyle might get treated like an idiot if he says one is for her.

Ammilek is also absentmindedly rubbing her broken horn.

"I got the second bed in case you felt the desire to not stand in the corner being scary tonight. And no, I didn't for get the you don't drink, the other on is for pleasure. Also, your horn looks lovely today did you polish it?"
Kyle says pulling his study journal out and beginning to write down possible ingredients from the smell and look.

Believing Kyle to be both trying to flirt with her and making fun of her, Ammilek's remaining horn turns a light shade of red.

"I'm not that scary! And actually, I was planning to stay outside tonight... Unless I can have your soul...?"

Kyle looks up at Ammilek before quickly flipping to a different page earlier in his journal and writing something down.
"Not unless you can find a way to not make me brain dead or permanently eat me. And I won't mind if you do it in the room. Just say that you two were getting down and dirty and then he did something you didn't like. But really, it looks nice."

[Lyeos]

Kyle would probably be getting slapped right now for suggesting that, but Ammilek's slapping arm is currently broken. Instead, her horn turns a vivid crimson, and she storms out without a word.

Kyle looks up before going back to writing things down.
"Such a strange person..."
