Hi there,

is there a way to get DF-Hack running with the current release? Basically I just want to use "reveal" before embarking.. I'm too picky with my embarks and it takes forever when trial and erroring embarks...

Over in the Dwarf Therapist thread, Peridexis linked to this reddit thread where kyril posted a generated DT ini with memory locations and a link to the repository `df-structures` which he said was maintained by the DF Hack team: git://github.com/kyril/df-structures .

I cloned it and following the instructions in README.UPDATE to run `./new-runtime.pl v0.40.02 ~`. Then the readme instructs to launch the linux DF version and "launch the tool" (which I am guessing is `start.sh`), however the script comes to an error because the executable `./sbcl-runtime` is not found in the current directory. I did try installing `sbcl` and changing the script to run `/usr/bin/sbcl` but I am put into an sbcl prompt with errors about missing package `ASDF` which I tried fixing by installing `sbcl-source` and `cl-asdf` but still the error remains.

Anyone know anything more about using df-structures?

Yeah, actually my fault. I sent over some scripts to Peredexiserrant, one of them was /hack/ruby/ruby-autogen.rb which has different line endings on mac, and because of this fails on windows. (btw: is that normal?)

It's normal if you're using a standard text editor, IIRC. Grab an IDE designed for development and it should allow you to choose which encoding to use. Scite's pretty easy to use and open-source: http://www.scintilla.org/SciTE-OSX.html

Yes, I know how to save them with different encoding, but I didn't edit it, my problem was that it came from the same github repo (afaik) and used different encoding in the mac pack, and in the win pack. BUT it was the only one, there were a few other ruby scripts in the same directory that used windows encoding... so not so straightforward.
And to clarify my question: is it normal for ruby/dfhack to have a problem with line-endings, and would it be easy to make it go away? Or is it caused by windows, in which case ignore me.

Hi guys,

For the moment, I continue playing with the 0.34.11 version, waiting for the buxfixing and a solution for the deadly FPS of the last version. I downloaded the Peridexis Errant LNP, that include the dfhack 0.34.11-r5.

My questions are:

1. Have included the "digging invaders" plugging in the dfhack r5?

2a. If the answer is yes... The digging invaders plugging is activated by default or I must activate the plugging? How?

2b. If the answer is no... How I can install and activate the digging invaders plugging?

I also must advice that I'm really bad with the programmation stuff and plugging installation, the simple activation of the growth-bug fix was a small headhache...  :-[
