"Huh? You don't want me to fight these guys?" Dahzel now was really confused. "Alright, then. I guess I'll go check out that house! I'm kinda hungry, ya know!"

She shook her head and sighed.

"Do what you want. If you don't attack us, I'll put in a good word for you is all."

Martyn sighed.

"Well, now that's settled, can we please get back to the task at hand?"

:"Can do! ...ah, you're not looking too good, Martyn. Let me help you out!"
Move to 6, 14 and heal Martyn AFTER he attacks.

Garick turned and addressed Dahzel first. Despite being betrayed he seemed fairly calm about it.

"...I suppose I can't just drag you along with me on my path, Dahzel. Do what you want if you think it's the better choice... Even if it means turnin' your axe on me."

With that out of the way he returned to his fiery persona. Probably because he'd been hit with Aneira's arrow. Not the best diplomatic decision in hindsight.

Edward finally lost his patience it seemed, as he finally spoke up.

"My, aren't you the confident one. I guess it doesn't matter though, even with an Artifact you'll still drop dead easily enough."

"Heh, if you say so kid."

And then he was set upon by Dahzel, who gave him a clearly fatal wound.

"Dammit Dahzel... I wanted to... keep 'em guessin'. Garick said as he collapsed. However, just as he hit the ground a light shone from his right pants pockets and his wounds started healing!

Aika eyed the nearby enemies warily. Everyone was either well-armored or wielding axes - not exactly good odds for a pegasus knight. She gritted her teeth and shouted towards Geoffry.

: "So I take it you're the one in charge here. Any orders?"

"You've got vulneraries, right? You should probably heal yourself or someone else."

[Sirus]

Aika flies up to (9,7) and uses a vulnerary on Hilde.

"Hmmph, suppose that'll do to prove you're on our side now. Keep sharp though, he's not looking like he's content to stay down..."

"Haaa... Thank you, Alexios."

Martyn rolls his shoulders, stretching a bit before removing his spear from the body of the downed soldier.


"Hmm..."

He glances at the steadily-healing body of the bandit, at the light rising from him.  Already, possibilities were running through his own mind despite the battle raging around him, particularly involving Edward's mention of artifacts.

"Now what, I wonder, does he have in his pocket?"

"Dammit, Gorick, you're still using that accursed thing?" Dahzel didn't look surprised at the slightest, and his talk was probably for keeping appearances. He shifts his axe, ready to bring him down once more.

[F.O.E.]

"Now what, I wonder, does he have in his pocket?"

"From the looks of it an Artifact, as I said before. Edward frowned and shook his head."A very powerful one at that, if it does what I think it will this man has very dangerous connections."
