"Whoa, yeah! You can already tell?" Dahzel starts unfastening his chestplate, revealing his mark. "Not sure where it came from. Gorick said he'd find someone who'd tell me where to go, but this works too!"
Dahzel asks for a Devil's Axe. Or an Iron Axe. Yeah, probably just an Iron Axe. Edward can make all the mistakes he wants.
"Sensing magic is as easy as breathing for one as skilled as I," the scholar said as he waited for Dahzel to finish undoing his chestplate.
"Hmm, a most interesting mark this is. It seems to be used to lock certain memories in place; however, I'm unable to read this..." the man mumbled, sounding somewhat frustrated.
"Perhaps if you could tell me what memories are tied to this mark I could help you with it."Aneira shrugged.
"I'm fine with it so long as she's fine with it. Lets go then. He's close by, so it shouldn't take too long."
"L-Let's get going then! No point in just standing around!" Alice said as she walked out the door and held it open for Aneira.
Aika grinned at the woman. Her accent, while heavy, had an undeniable rustic sort of charm to it.
: "Oh yes, you were the healer from the battle. Good to meet you, Hilde. And yes, I'll be staying until I'm ordered elsewhere; it's a miracle that I even made it here, so I'm not eager to try my luck attempting to fly out on my own! Not with bandits and traitors roaming the lands."
Faewynd, meanwhile, was staring expectantly at the young boy. She had heard the words "apple" and "carrot", and was hoping that words would be followed with actual food.
As the two women talked Peter scurried off to find either apples or carrots. He found both in the form of an abandoned stall and, without another thought, scooped up a few of them and returned to Aika and her pegasus. Surprisingly, the proper amount of gold was left on the counter...
"I found some!" Peter said excitedly. He kept his distance from the pegasus though, he'd heard they bite if you approached them wrong.
