He says as he thrusts it into Aneira's hands. On closer inspection it appears to be a rabbit foot necklace.

"Tha' things given me luck ever since I strung it up and started wearin' it. Maybe it'll do the same for you. Consider it thanks for all tha' help."

Drawing his sword, Ekul waved it around him, hoping a bit of the sun gets reflected off it to catch Martyn's attention. He pointed the thrusting sword at the opponent next to the river then promptly charged, letting out a battle cry as he closed in, hoping that it would distract his target and create an opening for Martyn inch in a blow.

  "Yrrrraaaaaghhh!!!"

Ekul moves to 10,5 and attacks Merc B with Slim Sword || Only if Martyn attacks Merc B.

Alexios walks a little closer to Aneira, staff held in his gauntleted hand, speaking to the enraged axeman.

Martyn nodded silently as Ekul charged, smiling internally as the deserter flinches and glances to the side.  A mistake the spearman does not make.

He darts forward, attacking Merc B with his slim lance.

Martyn seemed to be injured. Time to do her job.

Hilde heals Martyn.

Geoffrey can now act twice!

Martyn and Ekul prove that, yes, they can work as a team and down the mercenary.

Martyn gives Ekul a brief nod as he strikes down the wounded swordsman and mutters a thanks to the healer as he feels his wounds knit together.

"Ekul, Hilde, go and help the others. I..."

He deflects a desperate strike from the remaining deserter, then brings his spear around in a loop, slamming the shaft into the man's leg and sending him tumbling to the ground.

"...Will finish this one."

Martyn brings his spear down to finish off Merc A!
