Everything here is awesome.

Does the new shininess tank FPS, and if so, how much?

Dfhack uses another cpu core, so it should be fine. Run DF on one, DFhack on the other.

Meph... you. Are. AWESOME!

So much work put into this, and you still do it for free! Thanks alot Meph. Really.

Also i imagine the dwarf story teller to sound like Marcus from the Borderlands games intros.

"So you want to hear a story huh? One about Dwarven Fortresses? I can tell you one... but some say its not true. Some say its the rumblings of crazed survivors. Others say its the lies of cowards, told to preserve what little honor they hold.
But its true. Its all true.

Let me tell you the story... of Boatmurdered..."

Do I need to do anything clever for that, or will it happen automatically?

You can't do it manually from the task manager. There is only one DF process.

Hey Meph, there's a problem with the graphics in Ironhand (I think) - the writing is freaking big I can't read the reactions. I have no idea what my dudes are making! Is it 'Handcrafted Ironbo-', 'Handcrafted Ironbo-' or perhaps it's 'Handcrafted Ironbo-'? How do I fix this?

Dev Log - Day 11

Today I made the release (actually yesterday late, but hey) with the multi-tile viewing and all the bugfixes, added Boltguns succubus changes and IndigoFenix gnome changes.

I start with Github and committed my dev version, which in this very moment is exactly the same version that has been released, but is bound to change soon. This means you can get my latests tests and features even before an official release, if you are inclined to do so. It will also help other modders to add content, fix bugs or work on other races simultaniously without stepping on each others toes.

Git: https://github.com/Meph248/MDF-Dev-Version

I have been testing three new scripts in the meantime: Pantheon for gods, A custom slab engraving and upgradeitem. I hope to show some screenshots and give more info about those tomorrow, thats the plan at least. They are done by IndigoFenix, Putnam and Roses. If you want to have a look at the Pantheon script yourself, go here: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=138404.0 IndigoFenix is still looking for good suggestions of god-related curses and blessing that fit the DF spheres. :)

Do you use windows 8 on a hi-res screen? You might have dpi scaling that skews things. You can disable that from the properties of the .exe file. I have to do that and to run as an administrator each time (release download) for my new laptop.
