Herinrich von Stuarm GuntharAs you open the nearest box, you instinctively reach in and pull out what looks to be an incredibly tiny sword, with a small indentation in the hilt. In the bottom of the box [6] lies a note that you can't help but read.
Blade of Kiron; False evidence that the wielder is a mighty adventurer, the Blade of Kiron was an artifact said to possess great magical power, and led many a mortal to their deaths in their search for it. As it happens, the blade is nothing more than a letter opener, and appears to be missing a small gem. If you can find it, we're certain you could restore this item's power! ~ Management.
Jin LemonLifting the lid of a rather heavy chest, you see a [4]... Huge, fuzzy pink spider! It quickly jumps onto your face and screeches the following message into your ear:
Security Blanket; Hiding under this can protect you from many monsters that inhabit this labyrinth! It's large enough for three of you "players" to cower under, but using it negatively affects a hidden stat. With love, management!
before ceasing to exist with a small "poof"! You retrieve the rather large, fuzzy pink blanket from the chest, then get in. As it's quite sizable, you fit inside without a problem.
Jonathan MasterThrusting your hand into a small, gray box, you pull out a dark green wallet overflowing with twenties! [5] You know what this is!
It's one of what are known as Wallets of Infinite Cash. This particular wallet seems to be capable of producing an infinite number of twenty-dollar bills! Unfortunately, you also recall that most forms of currency are useless nowadays, though maybe you'll find a use for it?
Jason CadwenA tiny cylinder near your hand pops open and fires a small canister of purple goo into your hand, which you catch without a problem, as well as [6] a scrap of paper that you immediately begin to read.
Concerning this container of goo: Actually, I don't even know what this purple gunk does yet. On the side of the bottle, glowing letters will inform you of how many uses of this stuff you have left - it should say "3/3 Uses remaining", as I filled it up for you. ~ Always watching, M. Marlowe.
You look around for some form of exit, and realize that there's a large hole in the ceiling, but are unable to find any other item-containing boxes. Quite a few that you could fit in, however.
Rivae Nalvaike & Libitina KeshanodalThe two of you throw open the lid of a gigantic metal box - might as well be a dumpster, actually - and pull out two gray, rather plain backpacks.
Rivae [1] realizes that not only does he not know what this is, he cannot remember his life prior to being stuck in this room.
Libitina [5] knows that
This is a Backpack of Holding! While currently empty, this item is capable of storing any and all loot she might stumble across in this. The only downside is that, as more items are added to it, the one searching through it will have to spend an arbitrarily increasing amount of time looking for a specific item.
Flabort, The Immortal DemilichFlabort throws open an ornately decorated chest, covered with all manner of gems and precious metals, to find what seems to be a large, silver wing on the end of a staff which [2] he fails to identify.
You briefly consider casting a spell, but are shocked to remember that you
do not have any powers, and cannot do anything other than what a normal human can do. "The Immortal Demilich" was just your roleplaying name! You're just a normal person, silly!
None of you are able to find anything in any of the remaining boxes, however, many seem large enough to fit in. The geyser of sludge now reaches twice it's previous height - roughly twenty feet in the air - and the pool of gunk is now just a few meters away.
Tl;drItems get!More sludge!Hole in ceiling!
Good luck!((Hey there. Does this have a waitlist?))
((Indeed! I'll add you to it.))
