Get some equipment. See if they have anything in the Badass Spiky Armor department or the Large Badass Sword section. Maybe look for a shield too.

Oi. Beard person, Your name Samuel? Go ask the beard if its name is Samuel and point at the note if it is a Samuel. Locate a single shot/semi auto switch rifle and compatible ammo, as well as metal studded leather armor or kevlar and both a short sword and a combat knife, as well as sheathes for them.

He takes a swig from his bottle.
"Well, by equipment, I mean... Equipment. For this. Speaking of which, hold in just a second."
Samuel closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, then all of your old items fizzle into existence in front of you. After noticing some of you looking around for something he points towards the door.
"S'not how this works, you guys. We gotta go to another room, then you'll get something based on what you picked. How useful it is depends on your luck, though."
Flabort can't see anything remarkable about the ceiling, other than a handful of pipes. Oh, and it seems to be made of glass, although the only thing he can see through it is that thing from earlier smoking.

So.
Due to planning an actual game now, with a few... "Different" methods of character creation and backstory generation, I'm not gonna be updating this thing for a while. The new one is gonna take a lot of time to plan, although I've got a general idea of how it'll go. I just need to write a looooot of different scenarios, as it's intended to be much more open ended than this --> Significantly larger world, open, a timeline of events that will occur if you don't get involved, factions, etc. Low focus on combat, although it will be there. Significantly more focus on interacting with the world and technology of the day - in fact, most of the game will focus on the problems that it brings.

And Worldmaster will be happy because it's intended as a prequel to the one I was planning, to help establish lore.

So. Yeah. No updates. Probably dropping this. Sorry.

Yeah. I can't access any of my notes on this one.
The new one is being planned out on paper.
If I get my notes, I'll start this one back up. I'll probably still do updates anyways, just not as often.
