Bio: Native to Itola, but with parents who were born in Karlt, Dakob had always been a happy child, growing up with his family and helping out. He never really talks about how they died, but it can be gathered that they did die, in a way that traumatized the boy. After they had passed on, along with his little sister, the nine-year old Dakob was taken in by a circle of Magi who saw talent in him, and made to be an apprentice. Though he found magic astonishing, he never really had his heart in it, and even now, though he tries to help people, he still dislikes it's use when he can avoid it. Healing magic is not subject to this shunning, though, and the young man greatly enjoys the company of those who can mend another's wounds, though he rarely gets any, and dislikes making people worry.

Very tall and very large, Dakob can be intimidating to those who don't know him, though he is one of the kindest and gentlest souls one will ever meet. Soft-spoken and content to help others without leading, he nonetheless tries to be encouraging when people are down and lend a hand whenever possible. Self-deprecating in many cases, though typically in good humor, the gentle giant is glad to take a blow for a friend, or even a stranger, if it means someone else doesn't need to get hurt.

I'll probably go for Mage Knight, though. Even if I can't add my magic to crossbow damage, boosted Constitution to use with them will be zehr nice. I suppose it depends on what I get for stats, though.

As fun as S rank anima would be, staves fit better with the character, healing and all.

Do Sages have A rank Staves or just the B rank? I ask because I think Mage Knights have A rank staves which would seem odd to me that Sages have less stuff even in the magic category....

Still, I wonder if I shouldn't have grabbed Center and switched to Discipline once I became a Mage Knight so I could get Chu Ko Nu with 0 speed drop. Won't do much against a General perhaps, but that's what Arcthunder would be for.

Remember, Sages still have Call Magic or Memory Magic or whatever it's called now while Mage Knights do not. That said, I do think that Sages should be able to A-Rank staves.
