The Third Cavern is more than 80 z-levels

A miner dug through the ceiling of the third cavern, and at first, you even cannot see the bottom. It is a massive emptiness. Only rock walls and thin air. And I dropped a kitten into it. It turned out the cavern does have a floor. And it is level -5.

So the magma is likely to be even deeper, and most of the fort is above +120. Seems that it is time to start a tree farm.

wow EIGHTY? that's pretty cool... build a suspended (if not treehouse, cavehouse?) fortress in it! (assuming it has the kind of random pillars caverns usually do)

I'm still figuring out how to upload a seed...

When I used road-dar to detect, it seems that quite a portion of the bottom is merged in water.

If it isn't already filled with water at the bottom, do so and make it into a bitchin' dwarven diving board.
