Once he is rested the match shall commence, I am actually quite interested to see how good that character will be as prices don't seem to reflect their strengths all that well.

As arranged earlier, the strange and forbidding chaos mutant was led into battle against the shotgun bearing one.


Robert makes the first move, bracing himself for the inevitable, as Grawlich charges in screaming obscenities in every tongue, of which he had several. While failing to plant the blade deep into his foe (87) he also redirected the snarling beast's jaws from his throat(76). He stabs directly into the monster (28) but fails to penetrate it's thick, acid covered skin! (5 damage vs 5 toughness). IT makes an All Out Attack in response, burying it's fangs deep in his right arm! His leather jack takes the brunt of it, and he only suffers a single wound. A quick jab fails to connect (49), and the monster lets out another ferocious all out biting attack, but fails to connect with a single one! (67). RObert makes another guarded lunge, but once more, fails to penetrate his enemy's thick hide (74), and Grawlich retaliates with his full fury! (05), ripping another four wounds out of Robert. Robert jabs his rifle up, feinting successfully against the monstrocity, then jabbing low! (12 vs 37) (23), jabbing three wounds out of the chaos monster.

  With growing horror, he watches s the beast heals a single wound, rapidly stiching up holes in it's flesh, as it makes another all out attack! It fails miserably, failing around, (95), and Robert Discharges his shotgun at the gnarling horror.  A ripping blast of shrapnel slams into it's ribcage for 11 wounds, sending it flying backwards. It rises, it's insane, logic defying form repairing the damage even as he frantically reloads, and it lunges at him, snapping it's jaws around his neck (21) Inflicting 15 wounds, landing a critical hit! Savagely, he tears open his opponent's chin to the bone, splitting his lower lip. Blood splashes down his chest and he counts as stunned until the end of his next turn. In addition, he must pass a WP test for each hand or clap it to his injured face, dropping anything held in that hand. Failing, he drops his gun, clawing at his face in agony, The scar will be impressive, reducing Fel permanently by 8. The beast reared up again, intending to end this battle in as gore soaked a fashion as it had begun, missing once in it's haste (74) but striking true! (33) It rips into Robert's right arm, landing a 3 point critical!

Furiously tearing into his opponent, he rips his arm off at the elbow. The bleeding causes a cumulative penalty of –10% to his WS, BS, Ag and S each turn, resulting in unconsciousness when any of those characteristics reaches zero. The arm is, of course, permanently lost. If left untended, loss of blood will cause his death within another 13 turns. Robert begs, depserately, for the favour of the Arena master, blood gouting in fits and spurts. He, however, fails to invoke a sense of pity, and the beast is allowed to finish him off. (74). Grinning, it rips into his head and neck,
As robert attempts to dodge it's slavering attention, hemanages to save most of his face but doesn’t manage to entirely get his nose out of the way. He counts as stunned until the end of his next turn and will suffer a permanent –10% modifier to his Fel. However, he will have a +10% bonus modifier to Intimidation tests. Ferociously, he rips into Robert's torso, you tearing open his belly, causing a loop of intestine to slide out of the wound. Your opponent's is stunned for 4 turns and suffers a penalty of -20% to all tests until the end of the battle, also having to use one arm to press against the wound, stopping more of his precious insides from falling out.

Again, and again, the Monster rips into him, this time tearing into his leg, ripping out the femoral artery. He sinks to the ground, rapidly bleeding to death from multiple injuries.
Miraculously. the bleeding subsides after Grawlich is led out of the arena, and he is brought to a state of revivification.

Ticket Sales: 1800 GC
Arena take: 900 GC
Misfit's Take: 675 GC
Sigmar's Shining Soldier's take: 225 GC

Grawlich's Injuries: regenerated within 12 hours. Grawlich has gained a mutation! Grawlich has grown! He has gained 6 strength, 4 toughness, 1 M, and 2 W! in addition, he has gained 5 Agi, but then lost 7 Agi.
Robert's Injuries: Permanent loss of arm, impressive scarring, loss of a total of 18 points of FEL, gain of 6 IP (And thus, one insanity) and the loss of  1 FP. Massive infection has set in, and he will not survive without medical treatment. On the plus side, he has gained 10 T.

For today's battle, we have two new competitors for the ring....Urist McMiner, and Gerald the Mysterious! One stout dwarf, and one mad man! Let, the battle, commence!

Gerald swiftly removes a handful of fine dust from his pouch, and a mysterious wind blows it in the direction of the dwarf! He coughs, trying to clear this mysterious vapour from his lungs, but fails! (62) He glares around blearily, unsure of his location, and he charges at the Herbalist, but fails! (48 -10 to hit, +10 to hit counteract). The Herbalist steps back, and drinks a tonic of some description. He bounces on the balls of his feet, ready for whatever the Miner has for him. A lazy horizontal pick strike misses by a mile (87), and the Herbalist focuses, and slaps the dwarf. A loud, thunderous crack is heard, and the dwarf stumbles backwards, stunned by some mysterious force! (32 +20 for touch)

A quick slash by the herbalist cuts into the Miner's head for 4 wounds (20) followed by a cut to the left leg (27) for 7 more. Abruptly recovering himself, the Miner slashes with his pick at an all out strike to remove his strange, chemically armed foe.  (58, +20 to hit), hacking 7 wounds away from him. The Heralist retreats, and applies a strange paste to his shovel, and prepares for the onciming attack.  The follow up charge from the dwarf misses handily (81), and he counterstrikes, embedding the blade into the Dwarf's face! (30) 5 wounds roll over into a critical hit, Stunning him from the sudden blow! The Herbalist chuckles, sheathing his spade, and waits. The Dwarf takes a few moments to recover, and as he hefts his pick, he wavers, unsteadily, then collapses, his lungs spraying forth a bloody froth.

The herbalist carefully wipes the Nightshade paste off the edge of his blade, and lights himself a cigar, to commemorate his victory.

Miraculously, the dwarf survived, but his sanity is...questionable.

Middenheim Mauler's Take: 125 GC

Gerald's injuries: 1 days rest. +5 WP gained.
Urist's Injuries: 1 days rest. 8 IP gained. 1 FP lost. Urist now suffers from the Knives of Memory insanity.

All Gladiators not suffering from Critical Injuries are now back up to full health. Siegfried will be operational after the next duel, as will everyone who isn't Robert or Alexander.
