Also, it looks like we have a pretty well-rounded line-up here. We only have 2 people as repeats, which is not too bad given that there's 10 of us. And I think we need a Commissar at least as much as a Heavy Gunner, so that it lends credence to us not being Heretics. But then again, Flamethrowers in confined places are always fun.

Well I'm not sure how that'd work. A sergeant outranks a Storm Trooper but I think Storm troopers have sergeants from amongst themselves not regular imperial guard. But either way we have an NPC commander anyway.

Well they have sergeants themselves, I'm just not certain how it works when you combine the 2 command chains. A rank and file storm trooper and an IG sergeant.

If a storm troopers sergeant isn't present than I'd think they forfeit command to whoever else. However, 2storm troopers saying he'll no and pulling on a squad there outnumbered in as a bad idea. Plus even they WILL need help if fighting a horde of orcs or chaos.

Therefore storm troopers will companion the packers.

Well, a Storm Trooper is actually from the Schola Progenium, the same school where Commissars are trained. They're formed into a single regiment that is constantly reinforced, and is then divided into squads or platoons that are sent where needed. Storm Troopers are actually decently rare, and usually only answer to the Colonel or Major (Or highest ranking officer) of a regiment. A regular Guardsman, even a Sergeant, has no say over a Storm Trooper. Basically, there is no "Rank and File" Storm Trooper, since they're so divided into different warzones anyways. They operate independently in squads or companies, sorta like the Astartes chapters.

Good then my ORIGINAL plan of you being the psyker handler is a GO. I doubt Ratt snipers have the same privilege as toy soldiers (i got that from reading there class in the manuals by the way.).

No. The ratling is a sniper, they're likely to often need to split off from the group and move stealthily, having them tied to the Psyker is unacceptable.

There's like ten of us only. If my scenario is the same as the last forum game i saw about 40k than i imagine Chaos forces sending in choas marines like no one's buisness to steam roll us.

Plus isn't splitting off from the group the #1 way people get killed in horror movies?

... If Chaos forces send in a bunch of Chaos Marines, we're all dead.
