The way the companions rules work is by nomination. You select someone to serve as your companion for the purpose of the action.

Well 2 people haven't put sheets in and 1 backed out. I know Cael is working on his sheet so thats 11. I need to check who the 12th is.

As i am obviously the one with the most rank in this little team, i proclaim that the psykers will be your extra-ordinary eyes and ears  . Also don't eat my food..or you get the boot to the glute

The difficulty with that will be the fact that the earth will shake on a regular basis around me. That's legit one of the non-perils psychic phenomena that may come up, as is jamming everyone's weapons. There's a bunch, and only (some) of the Perils are really 'oh shit she'll kill us all' level of bad. Most are either nuisances or minor detriments. Only when I fail my psychic tests, though! Granted, both a Perils and a non-Perils are unlikely, but almost certainly possible...somehow...
