Don't snipers get a penalty for close range? (( Still reading through things so kinda just guessing about half of this. ))

What would you suggest for close range if not my rifle? All I can think of is a carbine.

They don't actually incur penalties at close range they're just fairly easy to hear, but yeah as Remuthra said a pistol of some form since having another full sized weapon just isn't a good idea for weight, and health concerns. Health concerns being the regiment officers wanting to put you on trial and take your shit.

No you roll.

Roll 2 d10 per stat then add 20 to the combine number. You can reroll one stat once if you don't like it.

Nope, you roll them in order, then get to reroll one of your choice, accepting the new result as final.

Be careful about rolling a stat a second time. I got lucky sort of my agi was so low I could hardly fail to improve it but some people have rolled low rolled it again and got even lower.


That's kinda why I want 2 weapon, ambi and gunslinger. 2 Pistols will work beautifully close range as well as being fitting for the character concept I have for her. Even if it will cost me a little bit.

I am quite the advocate of point buy, and would wish to argue the case that it allows players to make characters that are on par with the bog standard Imperial Guardsman instead of actually weaker than the standard one.

Me, Wrex, and a few others fill it with WHFRP, 40k, DnD, and other RPG stuff all the time already
