Remember Favored Basic Weapons go to Weapon Specialists and Favored Heavy Weapons go to Heavy Gunners. You want those, you requisition them to the Munitorum and cry when they don't give what you want.

I vote for the classic Meltagun as favored basic (great at opening tin cans and pillboxes) and whatever for heavy weapon.

I perfer other weapon for squad weapon as all the strom trooper already have hotahot las, maybe a shot gun or something for closer range, or maybe some quiet weapon

Also, I would suggest a flamer so we can clear out bunkers and tunnels, but considering I'll probably be going pyromancer as well as telepath...
